Most lenient states for growing

That's a pretty broad question. It would help to know if you're growing for personal or commercial purposes, and what kind of plant counts and/or legal repercussions you desire.

Broadly speaking the top 4 would be Cali/WA/CO/OR. But within those 4 states there is a large variation in rules and enforcement between different counties.

its obv.. hes trying to cash in on the green rush.. proly a dude who has the money.. but don't know shit about growing. or else he wouldn't give a shit were he lives..

if you want money.. move to the places with stricter laws.. prices go up..

also.. if your trying to move to a medical state. .like CO.. loll and start a big grow.. you wont make a DIME..

honestly.

I know how to grow lmao I just live in a bad state for growing and I don't have a place of my own yet so that's why I'm moving and why I asked for the best/lenient laws. Idk how my growing skill is involved with my question but whatever I know I grow dank.

Purpose of your grow?

Money: Good luck

Personal: Colorado. Cheap power and lots of places you can live and grow without worry. A couple counties don't really care how much you grow, as long as you're not slinging it or causing other problems in the community. Biggest issue here is "Tax Evasion"

It's all for me and my mother ( she needs Cbd for her health problems) but I thought they only allow like 3 mature plants in Colorado and 6 total. That's not enough for me lol and I think most growers can agree.

That's your opinion. I like to pheno hunt, just cause I have more than a couple lights doesn't mean I'm in for the money.

Lived in several other Western states....by far, CO has higher electricity prices than other locales. Haven't lived in CA, but adjacent state.

As long as you keep things low key, ANY state is a good state to grow. Just don't grow hundreds, keep you mouth shut (don't brag)....

CA was the highest for me ... I pay anywhere from .04-.07/kwh here in the mountains of Colorado. Where were you in Colorado???

So... if you're not selling then you should probably go to Colorado.

EACH adult over 21 can have 3 plants in flower, 3 in veg. 2 adults means 6 and 6 and so on. I actually live in a county where, if you're not selling illegally, they could care less how many plants you have. I've watched them ignore someone with 36 in flower, 40 in veg with paperwork for 6 total.

Some counties are not like that, many cities are not like that. Colorado has the most densely populated "rural" areas in the country and that STILL includes many many secluded places to live and grow.

I really wouldn't consider any other state... unless you're going to sell it.

As I understand it, getting med cards & extended plant counts isn't difficult here in CO, particularly if the need is real. I haven't done it, being content with the lower & completely anonymous limits of A64.

And, uhh, please- twelve 1000w lamps will produce a helluva lot more bud that 2 people could possibly consume, btw. We all know that. A single 1000w provides the wife & I with bud to spare.

I suspect that CA is actually the most lenient, allowing up to 99 plants with an easily obtained med card, depending on local ordinance. The 99 plant limit just keeps you out of the deepest shit should the Feds take an interest.

You might think electricity from an "electric cooperative" in rural panhandle FL might be comparatively cheap. WRONG. I'm paying more than $.10 per kwh now.

At least 12 lights and 150 plants? I'd move to south Mississippi, Alabama, or Louisiana. I think those states governments would have empathy for a guy growing"medicine"for himself and his mother.;)

I've seen scrog plants on here that had over 2 lb+ of bud at harvest. I couldn't smoke 2 lb in a year by myself anymore, even if it was legal & free. not & function anyway. that would leave 5 plants for moms CBD issues...:comfort:
