Most Amount Of Plants You Can Grow Without Being To Noticeable

Alright so my buddy want to do a big grow, the only thing is he doesnt want to tamper with his hydro, hes fine with having it higher than normal,but not too high as to where its noticeable, i was just wondering what your opinions on he seems to think he can do up to 200 plants, and just pay the extra hydro costs, i told him thats a little much maybe more like 75-100 would be realistic even then thats pushing it, what do you guys think?

ide say....your friend should research growing,and get some grows under his belt,as it sounds like he doesnt know what hes doing,so he shouldent be anywhere near 200 plants...

he should run a MAX of 2-1000W bulbs with nothing over 30 plants.and then see what comes from that.then think about more or less..


if he were to grow 200 plants,hell even 75-100,he would have to hire some help,or be at the grow room allmost all day.

if he hasnt grown,tell him to start small...if he has,tell him hes crazy.

What do you mean by noticeable??

Like as in infrared? Or... smell? Or electricity usage?

Infrared I have no idea how they work but i've heard that if one wall of your home is much hotter than the rest then it can be searched.?

Smell... uhhh just get a lot of carbon scrubbers, Multiply your room's Length X Width X Height, then divide that number by 5 - that's how many CFM fan you need for your room. I'd get 2 fans with that CFM rating with carbon scrubbers exhausting if its a large grow over 50 plants.

Electricity... I think electricity is worried about too much... i mean there's lots of explanations why you use that much electricity. My computer is 400 watts, they make computers now that run 1000 Watts. AC's take a lot, Dryers, Etc, etc. I wouldnt worry too much about this one

I think he's talking about the cost of water. I've never done hydro, but from what I've read, I believe doing even just 75-100 plants would be pushing it. Depending on what kind of setup you have, you would definitely be using a lot more water than normal usage. Like namo said, tell your buddy to get a few smaller grows under his belt before doing a big one.

his main concern is just electricity, doesnt want it to be suspiciously high

well actually he has down quite a few grows before hes more expierence than me and is a genius when it comes to set ups just the electricity is all hes worried about,his biggest grow was just over 30 plants maybe (35) i think and he got just over 16 LBS whish even then was very time consuming, but we do have up to 3 people to work on it that are trust worthy, its just he wants to do a mass grow which im not to comfortable with thats why im trying to get an accurate number thats why i said 75-100 even pushing it
