I was wondering if anyone has tried them out to prevent caterpillar damage? I spray with BT but i think we will take it one step ferther this season and drape plants with mosquito nets.

I have been using nets for years ,they work , but the have to be completely sealed , moths are very ingenious , once they smell the bud , and will do to any length to get in .

I do something similar to this. I will actually build a cage using window screen, big enough to house all my crop. This provides airflow, a physical barrier to pests, and allows for plenty of sunlight! Maybe mosquito netting would work better though, gotta investigate this :)
