Wondering if anyone has tried tossing them over plants to try and stop moth/caterpillar damage? my pops bought a shit ton of the stuff and insist we must use it, i don't wanna use it cause the sun doesn't penetrate the whole plant when its on. He took rebar pounded 4 in the ground and crossed pvc pipe over the plant, then just draped the netting over. Im worried the plants won't reach their full potential with the somewhat shading of the net? Or am i just tripping. I think its a brilliant idea to stop the moths from buzzing up in your plants. Thanks

I would suggest staking up some bamboo when plants are showing major pistils and calyxes. Then just make a big cage around them in full sun, if that is the path you want to take.

They also sell bug zappers on amazon for about 100 bucks that cliam to cover an acre.

And then there is BT, but you need to spray that properly to avoid complications.
