a got my 400w hps coming soon,(tomorrow a hope) was going to buy a carbon filter with fan kit, next month. but now i have been reading about a vaportek 4000.
i would like to get some opinions whether a should buy that or the carbon stuff.
my grow is going into a cupboard about 6ft6in tall, 2ftx2ft approx, am hoping to vent into the cupboard next door, also take air from tht cupboard as well.

please be quick with ur answers or opinions, the vaportek is for sale an if a get a good price a might buy now.

vaportek is amazing. get the extended life regular scent carts. place it somewhere high in the room the grow is in.

you will probably still need fans to exhaust and circulate air if you have a 400 in a cupboard.. but the vaportek may be all you would need to kill the odor. if not get a carbon filter too and you'll be really solidly covered.

i put mine in the room my cabinet is in. not inside the cabinet itself.. i think this works best.. although they won't harm your plants like ozone would..

they are built for hospital floors and the like.. to cover up to 20,000 sq. ft. so for a 1-2k sq. ft. house or apartment.. the unit is overkill.

anymore opinions are welcomed, i will find out tomorrow night if am getting the vaportek, a kinda want it now more than a carbon kit, lol

thanks for the replys, a checked out the thread better cheers, but a got the vapourtek 4000 with 2 spair cartriges for £89. hope it works, lol

no matter what else you get for smell issues mate, ur always going to need a fan taking the stale air away and bringing fresh in.....

well today is the first day of switch on, the fans, lights an the air moving fan are all in, am just checking the temps seems to be running low 80's high 70's, dont know how cold they will get yet a will find out tomorrow, when a check the temp gauge, (a got the min/max one) cheers again harry). still stuck the bros 2 in there., he has started off 4 last night, just waiting to see what happens.
