They're going to legalize it there. Just like my home state Florida. It's only a matter of time. It might not be this year but it will happen.

It sucks to get busted at this point in history. Going to jail for weed now is like getting busted for alcohol at the end of Prohibition. Stupid and pointless, but more so now that it's about to be legalized.

It's called venue swapping, entirely dependent on the mood of the prosecutors. The state can hand the accused over to the feds or vice versa with the accused generally ending up in the harsher venue.

yep. I had a grow busted in Austin a little over a year ago. ~30 plants in a 8'x16' SCROG 2 days from harvest. ended up being 10 lbs dry (3rd degree felony). i wasn't there when SWAT came knocking/kicking which helped get the case knocked down to misdemeanor possession deferred. never saw the inside of a jail cell and 1 year probation was the penalty.

not sure how it can be any kind of leinent
when they found the hash then another charge of manf. of controlled substances a 1st deg.felony was added,
with a possible life sentence.
plus with aall of it lumped together it may be turned over for fedeeral prosecution for *enhanced* sentencing

Yeah, and in Texas they'll cut their own thumbs off to keep it in state. They are pretty big on state rights and obligations.
