More tea/soil questions: Noob needs help

First of all just let me say it is an honor to be here with all you organic gurus. I wanted to thank you for all the hard work y'all have put into the Organics forum (which I've just stumbled upon). There is so much info that I've read from you fine people and so many notes I've taken that now I am starting to question my own questions! Ha!

I was wondering if someone could critique a noob soil setup and teas. This is a first grow (heading in the direction of organics) and second grow overall.

Soil + Amendments: Veg - 4 gallons total
60% Black Gold (organic)
30% Perlite
10% EWC
2 TBS Epsoma Dolomitic Garden Lime - I know this should be more now
4 TBS Powdered Seaweed Extract

Base Tea: Gallon container
1 TBS EWC
1 TBS Blackstrap molasses
1 TBS Liquid Karma
1/2 TBS Powdered Seaweed Extract
**Bubbled for 24-48 hours**

Now, after transplanting to 1 gallon pots, the beans were given a way too hot mix of B1's veg mix. Didn't seem to hurt anything as far as I can tell. The tea base has now been scaled down to what you see above.

1). How should this be diluted when feeding just the base, when feeding a boost of N, and when feeding a boost of P (per gallon)?

2). Should the beans be watered with a base tea everytime or at 2-3 day intervals? If feeding plain water is needed, is the addition of molasses still acceptable for this particular mix?

I know the beans will tell you a plethera of information if you listen to them. A good base schedule for this type of soil is what we're after. Does anyone have experience with Black Gold?

Thank you for your help in advance! I hope our future contributions will help add information to the forums and keep it a great place to learn and be with friends. Y'all take care now.......

Peace

Your base is really close to mine. You dont have to dilute it at all. You can use it every time or just use plain water sometimes. I usually feed with 1 tbls psg added about every third wattering. then I water with plain water. then I'll use the base by itself. Durring the strech I add the psg [Peruvian seabird guano] and base at every watering. durring flowing I add the psg and 2 tbls Indonesian bat guano as needed. Some strains Need nutes more often than others.

Hey thanks for the replies guys. Just a little paranoid that would be too hot along with the Black Gold for the beans I guess.

Floro- to which stretch are you referring? Every growth spurt?

Thanks again y'all....

I was referring to the first 2 or 3 weeks of 12/12. They will grow like crazy and neeed alot of nitrogen durring this time.

Yeh I use like a half cup of ewc in the same type recipe like it says on the bag"it wont burn your plants".The NPK of EWC is so low that its not gonna harm anything. The tea foams like hell too.It seems the more castings the more foam,I love foam!!

Thanks for the replys y'all. This is a brand new experience with the teas so I'm trying to just get a base feel for everything. There's so much info on here that it's a little intimidating and fascinating at the same time. Here's my current concoction for bloom in the future:

Beans are beginning their 2nd week of veg - Afghani and Narpal
They will stay in veg approximately 3 more weeks.

Soil + Amendments
12 gallons Black Gold Organic mix
4 TBS Dolomite Lime (lower dose b/c I don't know what buffers BG has in it already)
6 TBS Powdered Seaweed extract 1-1-16
4 TBS High P Bat Guano 1-10-.2
3 TBS Peruvian Seabird Guano 11-13-3
8 TBS EWC
1 1/4 inch layer of perlite on top of mix
Hand mixed
*Cook for approx. 3 weeks*

Now, I used 3/4 gallon of my BASE tea to wet the mix. I added back to my gallon container (containing the leftover tea) 3/4 gallon fresh water and stirred. I then made a very small amount of foliar spray from this mix. I then added the following ingredients for the new tea in the gallon container:
1 TBS EWC
1 TBS PSG 11-13-3 (I'm seeing a Phosphorus deficiency on the leaf tips - dark grey/black)
1 TBS Powdered Seaweed 1-1-16
1 TBS Liquid Karma
2 TBS Blackstrap molasses
**Bubbling for almost 24 hours now. Will use at 48 - 72 hours**

Sorry for the long post. Am I headed in the right direction at least?
Thanks for the help guys!

Thanks for the encouragements guys! I'll keep you posted on what's going on. I'm trying to diffuse a small Phosphorus deficiency at the moment. I'll let you know! Keep 'em burnin'!

Just a quick update...the tea's are working like a champ. Also doing some foliar spray that the beans seem to love. I like knowing how much nutes are in the mix and knowing that I have control over it. Thanks for the help guys. I'll send another update soon. The beans are partying like rock stars!

Peace

edit* They have hit a growth spurt and are guzzling nutes like Keith Richards at an open bar. I FIM'd two Afghani's at the 8th node. The other one still has one node to go before being FIM'd. Eight nodes at around 3 weeks of veg. I love Organics! Keep 'em burnin'.....
