Monkey Paw from Genotype A2 in Ann Arbor

Has anyone run the Monkey Paw cut from Genotype A2 in Ann Arbor MI? I remember this one from when I was a young'un, if it's the same. I Just put a vegged out 1 Gal into a 25 Gal no-till set-up under a screen, so I'll be finding out soon. I'm wondering if anyone has run this one yet...Any info or pics?

i did not grow it, but i did have some from a friend at the Mi. cup in 2014

it was good, but not great...buds were very hairy

No comparison to the Paw here in MI during the late 70's........oh that was a completely different animal!!

Damn 2scoot, that's not what i wanted to hear. Have you had a chance to grow/sample the Genotype offering of Paw?

I know Ganjaganjakush, I went there one pointless Sunday morning myself, only to have a friend drop one off to me the next weekend. All good things in all good time, huh? From what they told me it is not that popular and should be readily available...Good luck bud

Sample yes - grow, no sir. I will go out on a limb and say we will never again get to experience the true Paw of the 70's and early (very) 80's. Just thinking back on the taste makes my mouth water now.......

25 Gallon Organic No-till about 2.5 years old soil, 275 w/ Chinese panel LED, not my favorite LED by any means by still puts it out (and survived a flood). Seems to have stopped her stretch, which was less than I anticipated, but that was a good thing as I usually overcrowd this tent. It about doubled in size and filled the space pretty nicely. She will get dusted by Top Dawg 91ChemIX and Chimera RKSxChem pollen any day now. More to come..

We were told it was imported loose Thai or bulk SE Asian.

It's a pretty nice plant but I can't see this baby being preserved by generations. Soooo....I'm not saying anything yet as it has not yet been cured and none has been sampled.....

I forgot to mention I took these down at 84 says of flower. I got plenty of seeds from 'er too as mentioned earlier in the thread. I'm gonna bet this gal puts on some smell during dry/cure, as it has developed a nice spicy, musty smell already and she's not even cured. There's still a chance for this one to be a winner, and it's pretty dense too, which is important to some.
