how to keep mother plants alive? kinda lookin for the best minimums for lighting & watering schedule. they not moms yet, just rooted clones to grow up. just put in party cups, so i can just let them root-bound up & keep fairly small. i got a couple 100w spirally florescent power-saver bulbs in a cab.........

do i keep both lights on?

light cycle?

watering, how often?

nutes? i typically use foxfarm grow big, think i might have some humbolt veg too......

ok .. first... u would like to first.. keep transplanting.. dont let them get too rootbound.. theres other ways to keep them small and allow them to produce clones also.. just LST or FIM or topping will work...
light cycle 18/6
lights ... umm id say grab a 150watt hps or a cheap MH from home depot.. and just run that instead of compacts..!!

water wen the soils light.. pots will feel extremely light..

nutes.. fox farm grow will work.. but u mite need to grab other things if u have any problems! ..

remember 1 thing.. healthy moms make healthy clones.. healthy clones make bigger yields... and bigger yields make u happy!

I've kept moms in red Solo cups and 5" square pots. Your pot size is really determined by the amount of clones you need and how often you need them. There's no need for a mom to be in a 5gal bucket if you only need 2 clones every 2 weeks. One or two 23w cfls will keep your mothers going.

Keep moms small and when the time comes start again with a clone for her replacement. This will keep your perpetual mom forever small, just plan ahead. Then flower the mom

Yes agreed BONSI that bitch get ur self a smart pot like a 1 gal that's what I'm switching over to for my pur caddy and fire og. I screwd up and put my cherry pie into a 2 gal and have to throw away at least 15 cuts every 2 weeks.. just lst and super crop (pinch and roll the stem) I forget his name but he has a sticky about bonsi... but I put mine in smart pots to avoid all the root pruning crap.. I kept a super sour dez mom for about a year b4 I choped her for better genitics... just my 2 cents thoand I keep them uner 2 32 watt cfls (the curly one) and all the babies for the perpetual...

Good luck and keep us posted
