Well got my moms as clones back in December of last year (06), had them in 2 gallon pots roots started getting to big so read
bonzi post here and did as needed. I took cuts from the moms 3 weeks ago. I have noticed the leaves starting to get a little black spots on leaves and turning brow from the tips out. also there was a clear almost reflective white tint across small parts on the leaves. I did some reading I think the plants might have white flies and possibly Thrips. I picked up some Fungicide spray says can be used up to the day of harvest has .9% clarified hydroponic extract of neem oil. There are few leaves and how many/much should i spray onto plants? When I bonzied and replanted them i just cut the roots smaller and potted into new soil. and watered heavily. Should I have don't anything else to insure a higher rate of rooting to occur? Any help would be great thanks.

Excellent with the 4:2:1 ratio. :D You might not save them. Looks like mites. Check the undersides. Don't be so brutal on the mothers for clones in the future. Leave more leaves.

Super stoned. :smoker:

If you don't save them I would hope the clones take and just make a new set of mothers.

also next time do one or the other not both at the same time(taking clones and cutting roots)
Might have stressed the hell out of her.

Good luck and please let us know how it turns out.

ya and i have noticed i on my 3rd grow with gbum and the plant is very sensitive to nutes lighting and transplanting. the PK is a lot hardier than the other and can take a lil bit of mis balance in nutes o ra little more heat stress than the other. But I do have what looks like 2 soil really good fast rooting clones. so well see what i can do. Would you recommend spraying them with the neem spray or with the damaged leaves would it cause more harm than good?

would skeeter dunks help? and if so i read it calls out for 1 dunk per 100 sq ft of soil surface. what do you guys commonly use to ride these damn pests away?

I would try 1 thing at a time, as not to stress her out to much.

And maybe a fly strip, Like the sticky ones.

Never trim the roots of a plant that doesn't have an extremely healthy canopy. (and vice versa).
If there are no leaves and you trim the roots the plant needs to use the energy from the sugar produced in the leaves to regrow. If there are no leaves the roots won't regrow and the plant will die.

reminds me of the blight of 06 we experianced... lost 9 Mom's... Did you find that there was pretty much no new root development since your transplant?

This is what we found.. healthy plants, good system and all of a sudden wham.. they start dropping... moved so darn fast...Anyhow adding Potassium fixed things for us... ( build it up into the soil so there was an excess before the plant starts using it. We found it has to be built up in the soil over a period of time because slamming it isn't going to work. (weak plant couldn't handle a huge dose of it anyhow). We started giving it potassium 1/4 to 1/2 a normal feeding for about 6 feeds...everytime we watered. Anyhow, this started with lil black spots so I figured I would put it out there for you just in case its not a bug thing

I don't know.. does it kinda look like this to you?

It doesnt look like what u were talking about jenna thx for the input. I'm thinking its more of an issue that inflorescence called out with my cutting clones pretty quickly right after i cut back roots. plus i think i have a pretty bad white fly/trip problem check the pics of my ones in flower mode gonna throw them up right now. thx for

Alright here is my other little problem on my hands. I have some plants in flower same problem i will refrain from doing a write up on those seeing that it is most likely a pest problem. I just watered them and gave them a light spray with the 3 in 1 i posted earlier. Here are some pics of how they look.

well...muh Gbum mom didnt make it..oh well got a healthy clone that will be the new mom. learned my lesson the hard way i guess. I think the PK might pull through though shes pretty tuff. As for the flowering ones. I gave them a floral feeding with just water before giving them a heavy spray of 3 in 1. Looks like it was mite white flies and hopefully thats it. I threw a sticky trap in the top corner of my box so hopefully all is well.
