Mold Question

As I am unfamiliar with outdoor growing, I have a question about mold. We will be having wet weather for next 7-8 days with high humidity, no wind, very little sunshine, warm nights, and lots of rain. 3 inches this afternoon.
In outside conditions of this manner, when will mold set in ??
These are Indica's in week 6 of flower. Flowers are starting to compact and growing daily. These are heavy buds, very dense on main stalk. Top colas are 8x 14 and still 3 weeks to go.
My question: When will mold be a problem ? Is it an immediate problem, or will this take a few days. Should I be concerned ?
Plants are so tall, 8-9 ft., that I cant see top of plants, and ladders ore out of the ??

Damn. That sounds like a pretty good recipe for the onset of mold.

Sometimes all it takes is several hours of hard rain for big indica buds to rot pretty bad, but different strains have different levels of resistance-even phenotypes within a strain can differ in that regard.

7-8 days with those conditions will almost certainly cause some damage. Can you bend them down at all and create a temporary shelter with tarps or anything for when it is actively pouring? That will at least keep water from pooling on them and dragging them down.

I wouldn't spray anything on my plants at this point in flowering, but you may find other opinions on that.

My approach would be to create cover or at least be ready to go out and shake the rain off of them as frequently as you can when it is actually raining. Also, be prepared to just chop a week or ten days early and call it a year. It's up to you when the percentage lost to mold reaches that crucial point, but better to grab what you can than to sift through a moldy mess to try and salvage comparatively little mature weed.

Good luck!

Can you get a blower in there to dry?

Buy and spray/drench regalia?

I would be trippin out...watch them like a hawk...spots will turn greyish dark and spread

This is a guerilla grow. Tarps and electric is out of the question.
GG77 - shaking them every evening was one of my thoughts.
Stems are too big right now for any attempt to bend them over. May have to chop early.
Only have 9 plants left out of 75. Chopping early will not give me a yrs supply, but may have to do it anyway. Some is better than none, I guess.
