Hi.
please help me with this problem, i worked too hard to throw all the great flowers that i have.
this are flowers from magic mystery mix , i started the drying process couple of days ago and today i found white spots on some of the small flowers.
it doesn't look like mold but more like a fungus.
i am drying the flowers in the same closet that i grow them, should i turn the fan 24H ?
is that a problem that the temperature will be too cold over there during the drying process ?
what should i do ?
please help :puppydoge

Interesting, never saw fungi quite like that.

Yes a fan and 24 hr circulation is a must. Temps aren't as critical, the colder the temps, the slower the dry. Air movement is critical, along with humidity (must be low).

Drag about those buds, I'd recommend throwing them out, not worth the risk IMO. Others will say make water hash, up to you.

thanks for the reply .
i dont know whether this is fungus or not, i hope that someone can help me decide what is this.
i will throw them away offcourse, only couple of buds are infected (i hope  ).

Does it smell "mushroomy" or damp/musty?

Maybe it's magic mushrooms. Wouldn't that be fun! :D

no, it smeels like a healthy grow.
maybe its a kind of magic, but i dont think ill check it out.
another piece of information, the white spots crumbles when i touch it, like a crumb of old bread or something like that.

not sure what to make of it. Is it like calcium buildup? Don't know if plants ooze calcium or other minerals....

I would remove the areas that are affected and remove them from the grow room, sounds like you are not having enough air flow in the closet for them. You have fans blowing on them?
Is your closet closed up?

Is the temps warm or cold? You have plants growing in there now? Looks like someone are rice cripsies over the buds lol.

When you remove one of them does it come right off? If you flip it upside down does it come off? If not show a picture of you holding it upside down.

Or is it stuck to the plant?

You have fans blowing on them? - until now i was activating the fans for 15 minutes in every hour(it is cold mow and i thoght that the low temperture will harm the buds)

Can you post a picture of them upside down please?

Is there any mold in an area where you grow your plants? Mold or mildew on walls in the room or in the house you grow in?

Is the humidity high in your home?
