You dont want to use that on your plants because it will encourage animal digging. Give them some guano tea.

How does molassis help the plant? It doesn't contain plant nutrients does it?

Couldnt be further from the truth.

Hi GanjaWarrior,
Mollasses is made up of sugars, which microbes eat. Microbes break down nutrients and make them more available to the plants. Gives the plant a fatter straw in a sense. Mollasses nute numbers......1-1-5. The preformance of mollasses is better when used with organics.
1 teaspoon per gallon of water....make sure to dilute it well...it is thick.
The good stuff.

Hope this helps,
Seed

I was told the same thing that SS said, they only suggested that it be blackstrap molasses. They said it had a K content that reguar molasses. Acts as a natural sugar boost as well.

I used it last run. Worked well, but had to cut the run short. I didn't get a chance to flush and I could almost taste a hint of molasses when I smoked.

Best of luck.

I grow fairly organically and use mollasus with almost every watering. I use 1 tablespoon in a gallon of water. Works fine. Many of your "carb" grow products are just mostly mollasus and some B1 vitamins. I hit the dollar store to get some B vitamins, grind one up and add to my water with the mollasus. If you decide you like using mollasus, go visit a feed store (if you're in a big city, find the horse stables in your area, they'll know where to get it)- feed store mollasus is WAY cheaper than buying it at the supermarket. It keeps forever if kept closed. Mollasus does not directly feed your plants. The soil microbes have to break it down first and make it available to your plants, but the plants do respond to it. The "Granny trick" of feeding your plants sugar is pretty much the same thing, but mollasus has minerals in it (especially that elusive potassium that our plants crave).

there's a good article in the current high times about molasses as well as other complex sweeteners. I started using molasses, too.

It supposedly helps the taste as well as other things . . . . :bigeye:

And FYI: don't forget the cure! 2 to 3 months if you can . . . I about dumped some white rhino the other day I'd had stashed. I hadn't smoked it for at least 2 months . . . . & it hadn't been very good. :chin: Man! What a difference a day makes!! total obliteration :yummy:

most strains will improve a good two points but this stuff graded out about a 6 when originally sampled

Now it's an easy ten: I didn't know if was afternoon or night
(it was 9:00 PM) sorry to go off-topic
