Mod Bx, Smoke report.

Well guys
This is my first smoke report so be Nice. I grew out two Mod Bx females in three gallon pots under a 400w hps. Yield was 3.5 oz from this plant.
As you can see with this pheno the buds are very open but frosty The dried buds have silver lines running through the buds as the calxs reflect the light. I am guessing that it would have reasonable bag appeal.

When the plant was growing the smell was a mix of a sweet smell make sugary (not fruity though)and a slightly spicy one. The plants don't have a strong smell in flower or when they are drying. However once dried and curing the buds take on a spicy smell with a slight woodiness. Smoking will leave the air around you stinking of spicy aromas.
The buds haven't been curing for very long but the taste seems to resemble the smell, its spicy with a hint of woodiness to it. I expect the taste will only get better as the buds are cured for longer.
The high starts almost from the moment you exhale. It then builds and builds taking you higher and higher. I find myself relaxed and totally at peace with no paranoia, in fact the opposite. It makes you smile and has a positive feel which i think which is good for enhancing your mood and maybe for depression. I think Mod Bx is best for the daytime, smoking this at night might make you find it harder to sleep. I think the high lasts a couple of hours maybe slightly more. Overall i find the high motivational and creative also very enjoyable.
Since the last harvest i have been smoking this constantly, I already have two clones in flowering and couple more just rooting to be mums. The other pheno Has slightly longer fingered leaves and more solid bud structure. The high is good but its more relaxed and feels like there might be a ceiling to the high.

I Think this is a great strain that i would recommend to anyone. These are/were available for a steal at $30 on Seedbay. At that price you cant go wrong.

sounds delicious, nothing like a spicy sativa! thats a damn fine yield for airy sativa buds.

I have heard from many folks that MOD's gear put their dick in the dirt!!So this report is no surprise to me. Good to hear you can get such a good smoke frombeans that cost $30. MOD did a great service to many by making great beans and charging very little. I hop eot see more like him in the future

Hey high and lonesome, thats exactly what i thought. I don't expect quite so much of the clone this time as i haven't trained as much. I think the key to yielding with sativa's especially is lst.
Thanks exactlywatt, My fav pheno pic'd above went 11 weeks/77 days. She could maybe have gone slightly longer but i had an accident which meant i had to chop her. I cut the other at 10 weeks but again i think you could go slightly longer. But i am super pleased with the results, My Friends that have tried it so far said they thought it was the best so far. I plan to keep her around but i am not sure if i will run both next round i got some new genetics to try and not much space.
I agree 100% Mr Nevermind, Shame Mod has had to take a step back from here for now but i hope we see him again. I think any vendor that can offer quality genetics at a reasonable price should be given respect and Mod is definetly one of those!

Yes it is a shame, but as long as he is safe thats all that matters to me. He did a great service for Ic and growers all over in a short time, and for that i tip my hat to MOD. Peopel like him deserve respect and a sincere thank you.
