Welcome aboard. Started 10 of 12 Mob Boss Bx1 today.

I use Promix growers mix with some added lime and DE. I also added a bunch of extra perlite for these seeds.

Using T5's in this veg room for the girls under 24/7. Then they will flower under 1k HPS.

For ferts I use Botanicare's line... Gave the cups a good soaking with some liquid karma and cal-mag. I only use RO water as well..

Day 5, and we have 3 up so far.

Day 11 and still only have the three up that germed on day 4-5. I was concerned and dug them up. Filled a shotglass with RO water. They all dropped to the bottom. After about 2 hours I grabbed each one with tweezers and sqweezed ever so gently to crack the shells, and replanted. Also the three that are up don't seem very vigorous. Fingers crossed

Schweet I ordered Mob Boss seeds as well on the last auction. Still waiting due to a postal service snafu(the Canadian end). I can't wait to get hem popped. Looks like I'll be a few week's behind you!

Well update time. So far only the 3 beans popped. The other 7 are duds I assume. I had 2 more beans that I planned on saving, but decided to pop those. I used the papertowl method and only got one to open. So it looks like we have 4 to work with. The leaves are velvety, very kool.

Also wanted to add that they were feed with a 550ppm solution of 7ml each of pro grow, liquid karma, and cal-mag. Hopefully they Jump, as they look very small to me at 16days from cracking. They had good roots in the cups when transplanted..

Since not much happening yet on these, I wanted to share a picture of one I have cooking now. Its from a mixed seed pack from harborside.
No clue what it is, but she is a beast. This picture is from about ten days ago. Smells like Fruity Pebbles, with a cherry smell to it.

Yup. I'm like 2 for 9 also on my MB BX1 beans I just purchased. The two that took are moving slow also. Ill probably try to pop the other three in a week or two. Subscribed....

Its been 7 days since transplanting and 2 of the 3 are looking good. One is a little deformed. Still have the one seedling still in the cup, probably transplant it in a couple days.

Dam GottaBeGreen, sorry to hear that your germination rate was even shittier than mine. Any pics? Feel free to post them in this thread if ya want

Not too stoked hearing about the low germ rates people are reporting,especially when I paid top dollar at auction for them...not as much as the pack that went a couple days ago though...someone wanted them bad!
We'll see how mine go before I make a call on the Grindhouse genetics. Finished phenos look gooood from other grow reports.

Gtotoys1 dont give up on that deformed plant.
I just harvested two Ultra Sonja girls that were runty/deformed looking in the beginning. Even though they remained short they grew into about 24 inch spears with what looks like will be about 1.5-2 oz. of dried bud on each one.

Well, I havent seen any finished phenos of this MB BX1 yet that but I did get a keeper prior to 2011. Not sure of the new stuff. I paid a lot also just a couple weeks ago for 3 out of 12 slow moving MB bx1 babies. Yea not the happiest when I paid $161 for 3 out of 12 slow growing plants. Hopefully they bounce back and keep up with all the others I planted on the same day. I put a pic of my 91chemxDMT to show the comparison of the slow growth from the MB BX1. I feel bad for the guy that bought them at $260 a couple days ago. Good Luck with yours man! Keep us posted. Peace.
