MJ activist NJ WeedMan needs your help

I don't know where to place this thread on the forums or even if this type of thread is allowed on this forum. But he is imprisoned for 20 days out of the month in NJ and can't make the income to make it to his experimental cancer treatments in California once a month. Yes this guy has done so outrageous things that you might think is bad for activism, but none the less he is suffering from cancer and can't make it to treatments because of New Jerseys fucked up laws.
heres the link to the fundraiser site: http://www.gofundme.com/5es4eo any donation will help him out! I don't know him personally but as a NJ resident i know how fucked up our system is so i feel for him.

The New Jersey government is killing a peaceful man, cancer patient, and human rights activist. We must not let that happen.

Please make a contribution to help fund Ed Forchion's next two round-trip plane tickets from New Jersey to California for life-preserving medical treatment for bone cancer.

Due to being maliciously imprisoned for a victimless offense for all but 10 days each month during which he must travel and get treatment, Ed has no way to earn the income needed to fund his trip across the country for necessary medical care. Our goal is to raise enough money for at least Ed's next two plane tickets to help mitigate the harm being done to him by merciless government agents.

Ed Forchion, aka NJWeedman, is a medical marijuana patient as well as a successful marijuana and jury nullification activist. He suffers from a rare form of bone cancer involving painful giant cell tumors as well as benign cancerous lesions. Ed is also now a prisoner in the Burlington County Jail in New Jersey even though he has harmed nobody. In April 2010, Ed was traveling in New Jersey to visit family while carrying his medicine from California. California is a medical marijuana state. New Jersey is a medical marijuana state. But New Jersey would not recognize Ed's California medical marijuana card and vindictively chose to arrest and prosecute him.

After been having found Not Guilty of possession with intent to distribute but Guilty of a minor 4th degree simple possession charge, Ed was initially sentenced to 2 years on probation for the simple possession conviction, which he is appealing. Perhaps because he was so badly embarrassed by Ed's huge win with an outright acquittal on the more serious charge, Judge Delahey seized the first opportunity to rescind probation for an alleged probation violation, which Ed disputes.

Judge Delahey's power-damaged idea of compassion in this case is to imprison a peaceful man who has harmed nobody and is no threat to the community for 20 days on, 10 days off, until he has served 270 days in jail for what is at most an administrative error. But how compassionate is this really?

The reality is that this imprisonment is making it impossible for Ed to get the proper medical treatment he needs to deal with a life-threatening medical situation:
1. When he is in jail for 20 days/month, he has no way to earn an income. Without that income, he cannot afford to fly to California and back for treatment.
2. Because of his imprisonment, he does not have time to schedule to scan the necessary bone scans and MRIs that are part of his treatment program.

"This imprisonment is seriously impacting my health," says Ed. He has petitioned New Jersey Governor Chris Christie for medical clemency releasing him from prison pending his appeal, but the governor has provided no relief. Ed was very nearly unable to get to California at all for treatment in November. It was thanks to a couple from North Carolina who heard about his plight and bought him a round-trip plane ticket that he was fortunately able to get there for at least part of the medical treatment he is supposed to be having.

But now he is facing the same issue in December and will be again in January and again month after month. It's our turn to help. Together we will raise at least enough money to cover Ed's next TWO plane tickets. Please make whatever contribution you can. Even small donations add up and will get us past our goal:
100 people, $10 each = 2 round-trip tickets
50 people, $20 each = 2 round-trip tickets
40 people, $25 each = 2 round-trip tickets
20 people, $50 each = 2 round-trip tickets
10 people, $100 each = 2 round-trip tickets

Jim Babb has volunteered to accept bitcoin and post the equivalent FRNs: 16qd29sZ6PRkMgEgNEvdGicXrsUFckanGE

Whatever is raised after GoFundMe fees will be transferred to Ed as quickly as possible once he is released in December so he can get his ticket and be on his way. If we raise more than $1000, Ed will have that available to put toward his future expenses, which will continue for many months.

This can be done, and it can be done quickly. With all that Ed has endured in defense of liberty at the hands of a legal system devoid of compassion and basic human decency, he deserves a break. Ed should not have his health-and perhaps ultimately his life-taken away without us fighting for him as he has fought for others.
:thank you:
