Mixing Soils

Would it really matter to use a different brand of soil when transplanting to a larger pot? Right now I have the seedlings in small pots using Edna's Best Soil and when I transplant them to the larger ones can I use Fox Farms Ocean Forest? Or is it better to stick with the same brand?

That's fine, difference isn't that big of a deal in that way , think of roots hitting different layers of completely different soil types digging into the earth. Just be sure they are somewhat root bound and ready for high nutrient soil first.

Should be fine, might want to check the PH to make sure it is in the proper range. Also maybe add in some sheep/cow manure, you can buy it in bags already composted.
