Mixed Hortizontal and Vertical lighting

My first legal indoor soil grow.

4x8 tent, two inline air cooled Hortizontal 1000w HpS, 1 600w MH Vertical.

FF Ocean Forest in 3 gal pots, pgsc and gsc from clone.


What are thoughts on mixing vert and hort lighting?

Off-hand, I'd say more than a few do as well. The only real caveat I can see is heat management. If that's whipped, give it an honest shot! Who knows, you just might convert to vert, altogether!
