Mites?

Hey, Ive had mites in the past and dealt with them, so I have an idea of what to look for.

Recently I have noticed on all of my plants single web strands going from the tip of one leaf to another. I dont see any white spots on top of the leaves though and cant make out any mites underneath. Last time I had them they had a group of webs around the base of the leaf, not seeing any of that this time.

Do mites usually have strands connecting the tips of larger leaves or is this just some normal spider jumping around leaving webs?

The tobacco juice recipe:

3 strong cigarettes soaked in water over night. Boil it for 2-3 minutes, cool it and spray the ladies every 3 - 4 times per week.

Hope it helps.

If you can get some neem oil as well the tobacco juice that should wipe them out after 2 weeks of spraying them every 3-4 days,if you can't get neem oil just add 5-8ml of vegetable oil and a few drops of the cheapest nastiest washing up liquid to emulsify the mixture.I find it works real well but by the sounds of it it's probably a normal spider swinging from leaf to leaf .

God damnit! Got in there closer today with a microscope, and sure enough, mother fuckers are back. These seem even smaller than the last ones though, I could only really see them with my microscope for checking trichomes.

Hit them all today with neemoil spray I had from my last battle and put up a new No Pest strip in there. I didnt really want to use a No Pest strip in the flower room, but Id rather have that than lose all my buds to mites.

Should I just leave the no pest stip in there for a few weeks while Im spraying for mites or does it need to come out after a couple of days? Trying not to posion myself to death with the first batch

:fsu:

Also, I have been having troubles with the my leaves (starting from the bottom) turning all yellow and eventually falling off. Up until now thought it might be a deficiency or lockout. Have been checking the leaves and none of them are infested with webs or anything, but I am seeing a few mites on each leaf now that I look closer.

Are the mites causing the leaf to completely yellow and die, or are they just attacking the weaker leaves?

That's some cold blooded shit.

@Stevius: The tobacco juice isn't harmful to the plant?

If it is, it would be nice to know.

Otherwise, not that I would know anything about harming the plant. Even if it is harming the plant it is probably a lot less than compared to spider mites.

But, honestly I dont see it, that it could harm the plant.
