mites in flowering room

well I gettin ready to chop my girls in the flower room they have mites...I want to prevent my plants in veg from gettin the mites when the go into the flower room....what can i do to protect my veg plants?

dont go from flower room to veg coz u'll carry them with u or anything u take form one room to the other.

u'll hav to clean yr flower room well, the borg can hide for years and in anything, ballasts, plugs, cracks in wood. there is a sticky in the infirmary check it out. i've had them for 3 yrs and never got rid of them.

by the sound of it u think u avnt got um in yr veg room, they came from somewhere, i got mine from a cutting i got off someone.

well I thought I got rid of them in early veg then they came back in late flower....
my veg and flower room are basicly separted by a sheet (poly)...
is there anything I can do to my veg plants to protect them...
cause I think its just a matter of time before my veg plants git em

hot shot "no pest strips" do well for smaller areas..they worked for me

i wouldnt use with flowering plants though

Get yourself 2 no pest strips, hang 1 in each portion of your room Veg and Flower, in 2-3 days borg will be gone. I keep them on hand for such instances.

Benny be very aggressive. Clean both rooms with bleach. then bomb the shit out of them. Spray your plants every 3-5 days with whatever spray you want to use. You need to break the cycle. I know it's a pain in the ass, I've been battling them for a year now so this means WAR!!!! Just be persistent and you will get them.

PS. No-pest-strips are fine if they kill the mites? My strain of mites are pest strip resistent.

Exactly. The Borgs adapt to chemicals but have no defense against those occuring naturally in nature. Confuse them with different attacks of citrus mist, and other natural miticides. Remember the egg cycle is 10 days and if the whole grow isn't scoured good it's all a waste of time, they'll dig in and return when the conditions are right.

When I caught some on gifted clones years ago, the whole grow disenfected one at a time and moved to a clean room, then the room and equipment was bleached, and sprayed down with the Eradicator mix for future prevention. Been pest-free since Thankgsgiving 2005.

I used the hot shot no pest stripes they didnt work for me......

me and afoaf used them at the same time and they toatly wiped hes infestion out but not mine...

then I used 1tokes mite recipe....i thought this really got rid of them but..they have returned once again...this sux

Benny like 1Toke said mix it up, use different miteacides alterneating back and forth. The trick is to keep on them for at least a month to break the cycle. Trying bombing the clean rooms once a week and spray every 3-5 days this should get rid of them.

definately mix up your treatments as the borg will build up immunities...i run a perpetual grow and am constantly at war with them...bombings coupled with spraying every few days seems like the best line of defense...

i'm thinking of clearing my veg ad fower rooms and putting sulphur candles in?

i tried that mixture with the cidar vin, i dont know wat i did wrong but it fucked the leaves up and didnt bother the borg

hey lofty, i saw somewhere that hotshot nps sold in the uk was under the name vapona, try a search, ya mite get lucky.

this is what you need...put them in your flower room with no plants for one week...keep them in your veg all the time..believe me it is the only overnight solution and great for veging plants..peace

The Avid (or Floramite for that matter) WILL work on them...usually in 1 spraying they're all gone. I know it's expensive, but a tiny amount goes a long way. I've been using the same 1 ounce vial for a couple years now and I've still got enough to do another spraying of 2k work of plants.

Might wanna consider splitting an 8oz bottle with a couple fellow growers to cut your costs...
