Is using this fan a bad idea? I have 1 & thought about how I could incorporate it into my grow. It says that the fan makes a very fine mist. Any Advice on how I could use this misting fan? Thanks & Peace SW
I agree sunnyside, I was thinking the fan might work on mother plants with flouros on them. I know it is risking it tho! I don't yet know how fine the mist is. Thanks for the reply! peace
becarefull of the lights the bulbs will explode if ya get them wet ..well i,ve heard they could .. i know they will crack if ya let water hit them or let water get sucked through the exguast fans and hit the lights .. so be careful... but why would ya want this .. for foliar spray ,,or humidity ...as spraying a flowering mother could spell trouble with bud rot..so there realy is no need to have one ...i think these things are more like .... hey that sounds llike that will work kinda of things or it looks super cool ...lol thats all
it was a christmas present & I wanted to use what I have! lol it is 1 of those things like hey that might work! OK bad idea! Maybe Ill use it on some outdoor plants! lol Thanks for the replys! If you don't ask a stupid question, you may never know it is a stupid question! lol Peace
So if you are having low humidity problems try it out, maybe face it toward the wall or something. Wouldn't put it in the flowering room unless you are having extreme heat problems.
Other than that, put it outside by the grill, pull up a lawn chair, and chill all day! But wait for summer!
Oh, where do you put the water in that thing, how much does it hold?
If u could mount it somehopw so that the mist goes str8 down on the plants instead of around the room, and had it in a stationary position,m it may be OK in a mommy area for likle 10 secs at a time or some thing, but this of course would still be as dangerous
