Miracle Grow...Yeilds are Low!

I thought id jus say that since ive been using miracle grow ive noticed that my buds are slow and much smaller.
My sage has okay size buds, but they are nothing compared to every elses bud shots. Ill take pics when my new cam arrives. Im only gonna get about
1 1/2 ounces from her...maybe less. She still has 2 weeks left to finish but
the yeild from miracle grow is shit.

My cinnamon are at 4 weeks and look more like 2 weeks flower, and even some hav only jus started to flower. Also ill post some pics if anyones interested.

Dont get me wrong, the smells are fantastic...but the bud size, hmm.

Ive stopped using M.G now after someone on here told me not to....which was
about 5 weeks ago, so maybe theyll turn around, but i do think so ya know.
I flushed her good and continued with organic ferts for one week....flushed again one last time and now shes lookin okay...nothing special.

The yeild on the sage is not too bad, but not anything that shes capable
of...thanks to M.G.

So basicly..DONT USE MIRACLE GROW...please.
I know mosta you guys already know this, but for the people who dont, should know.

I only really used M.G in veg for the cinnamon, and the first two weeks of flowering...ive now stopped from the advice i was given. BUT...the sage was fed it nearly all through flowering and i jus wish i knew what i know now, then.

So miracle grow will slow and produce smaller buds. Please avoid this stuff
if ur growing cannabis...please.

I still might get an okay yeild but i doubt it.

Ill post some pics in a week when my new cam arrives.

Thanks guys.

take it easy.

well ive used miracle gro in the past and aside from hot soil mixes i didnt notice anything. theres even a guy on here who uses nothing but miracle gro and he has awesome plants. You do what you do, ill do what i do. thanks for the advice, but chemicals are chemicals and organics are organics. Seems to me you're advocating organics over chemicals. nothing wrong with that. but to say flat out that miracle gro is somehow inferior as a product vs organics is pretty dumb since those are 2 totally different beasts. theres different rules to using chemicals vs organics. and of course if you do it wrong it will turn out lousy results. Miracle gro isnt the #1 chemical for no reason. it must be working good for people somewhere on the planet or else they wouldnt be making so much $$$.

i disagree alot,Ive read high times and found lots of info on miracle. I WILL DO WHAT I DO. Miracle may work for you and others but not me. Other grows hav turned out fine for me, im no idiot, im saying my results couldv been better if id not used MG.

Oh by the way im not using the soil, its the stuff you dilute with water.

Im not saying my plants are bad, im sayin they couldv been better.

My friend was also using it, and when we sampled the buds they were harsh and kinda tasteless, even after 2 weeks cure.

Sure you say miracle is fine for plants but i disagree...jus me.

I wish anyone the best of luck when using it...i realy do. But if someone asked me about it id be honest and say my results couldv been better if i avoided it.

thanks for the reply stihgnobevoli, take it easy mate.

peace

Carbon is the building block for all things organic. A plant is mostly water and carbon. Miracle grow is urea/ammonia nitrogen rather than the preferred nitrate nitrogen. When plants store ammonia/urea, this requires carbon. So, you have a carbon steal situation. Less carbon = smaller plant parts. Yes, miracle grow sucks for this reason and others.

Strains are different, they grow differently and yield's are differently, so unless you are comparing your plant to the same strain, it's completely use;ess to say MG caused low yields.......

I used MG and grew out 7 foot tall plants with it, if used correctly it can and does grow some excellent stuff.

It sounds like he was comparing stitch, maybe not.

If I said "since I've been using something" I'd be comparing to a time when I was using something else...

Anyway thx Green michine. I've never trusted Miracle Grow and would never want to use it on my plants.

It is a fact that cigarettes cause cancer but certainly not as much as the government likes to make out. What they ignore to tell the puplic is that in the 70's and 80's cigarettes caused alot of cancer because of cheap chemical fertilizers used on the tobacco plants.

That is why I would never use a cheap chemical fertilizer.

I used MG Bloom quite effectively. I did a chemo-organic grow - PBP Grow and Bloom and MG Bloom at 1/4 strength for flower (10-60-10). The plants love the MG bloom - explode with it. I agree that urea is bad, and I eliminated the one generic tomatoe food from my grow.

WHich is why I don't reccomend new growers to use MG products,

My grow consisted of using a mixture of 50/50

I used to use straight MG mixed with other soil, but since they added time released ferts it's to strong so I mix it with 50/50 mg soil with another brand and add lime bone meal and blood meal mixture.

I stopped using the MG ferts when I had access to hydro shops, but something is better than nothing for the time being :)

Lougrew uses miracle grow for his amazing outdoor plants...

After more than 5+ years of trial and error, I have finally landed on a combination of organics and synthetics . My synthetics are NOT miracle grow however... too hot for my ladies.

Hilarious thread title bro. I laughed my a$$ off before I read a word in your post. Mircle grow is easy to burn the plants, and like someone said tastes terrible. Those are my experiances with it.

p.i.t.a. to flush that stuff..also it keeps way too much n during flower..its hard to get the leaves to leach and yellow up at peak harvest time. Which sux!

I have used miracle grow and Plagron Organic soil side by side. There was no difference in yield or quality whatsoever. Not tying to upset anybody. The miracle grow soil was pre-fertilised with nothing added but water. Wait untill your plants are finished before you finally pass judgement. Plants also yellowed just the same.
