Miracle Grow All purpose food.

Hey guys

I have two clones which are a month and a half. Wanted to give them a some food so i picked up some Miracle gro all purpose 24-8-16.

My question is this, it says to use 5ml per 4L of water. Well i only use a 1L container and im wonder how much to put in since i can only measure 2.5ml at a time. I dont want to over due it!

Use a recycled two liter pop bottle with your 2.5 measure...
or better add 2.5 to 4 liters and use that initially...see how they like it...

Just remember 1 ts = 5 mL, so use 1|4 ts. Not going to ruin it on a fraction. If you are worried, add the 1|4 ts, mix, then pour out a little of the mix and add a little more water.

ONe reason why people hate mg is because they cant read the label....

while this is not true of all mg products...

many do not contain either magnesium or calcium......

so if you dont use doloitic lime you have the potential for a really crappy grow.....

always use dolomitic lime with ferts that dont contain calcium and magnesium.....

wrong ! i can read just fine . i hate mg because it sucks . too much urea and amonia nitrate which is lethal to mj plants.why bother with that cheap shit anyway ,,,when they make stuff especially for our purpose

I love Tiger Bloom and FF's products. Not crazy about Grow Big, so I don't use it.

I buy a years supply of nutes, because I hate going to the hydro store or having anything mailed to me. So, if it came down to it, I would have to resort to other ferts sold by HD or whatever.

Because it is cheap, and you can get great buds with it.

Urea nitrogen is not poisonous to MJ, BTW. I used it in it's natural form before, and the plants love it.

I use MG Bloom Booster, I think it's 10-52-10. Use it sparingly to prevent burning and overdosing. I get good results with the stuff, but I don;t use it as directed, I usually go half strength or less. And I only fertilize for the 1st couple weeks of flowering, and flush for the last 2.

MG has good products, and has produced a few 18 inch solid colas for me.

I've used mg products for longer than I care to remember. If used at half strength no problems with most strains but a few sativa strains need very low nutes so caution should be used.

I used Miracle grow and did not get good results the first time I grew. My advice for you would be, if you INSIST on using it, to start with about 20% concentration and move up from there slowly, as the NPK on those ferts is extremely high (10 52 10 ) is a lot higher than the approximate 1 2 2 on a lot of more specialized fertilizers. I would also question the lower ratio of Potassium (K) on that bloom fertilizer. Flushing for two weeks with chemical ferts is also a very good call. Investing in something like "final flush" or whatever might also help you. I'd like to see pics of plants grown with MG, and I wish you the best of luck of course.
