mind vs body buzz

I know from recent first hand experience that cannabutter can give you a " knock you dick in the dirt", heavy narcotic full body ,stumbling, talking slow, visibly fucked up buzz

but 20 years ago when i made my first batch of brownies, the buzz was much different
I made the brownies with a bunch of small buds from the bottoms of a outdoor grow. I didnt even grind it that good (hard to eat) you might even say the pot was kinda RAW
well the buzz was incredible ,it took almost 4 hrs to take effect,
and when it did my mind was exploding with ideas and creativity
lots of energy.. it was awesome!!
I dont think it was a indica/sativa thing, but it was a long time ago but all my plants have always been indica dominant
what do yall think
can the buzz vary that much just by the prep method??

i dont think the prep will change the effect that much........the difference must have come from the strains and how the cannabinoids differed between them..

earlier taken and consumed pot is more speedy and buzzy........later is stonier and more relaxing......it may have been this, or just a genuine difference in the cannabinoid profiles of the strains or individuals..

alot of hazes/sat's do cause more of the effects you described...

I would think that the ratio of the cannabinoids activated and negated would differ at varying temperatures, which could definitely affect the high. I've always made butter that never climbed over 180 in temperature and baked at like 275 and most generally the goods are more heady than anything. The laugh at anything and sense of warmness type of high. I don't know though, could be because I only use trim for butter.
