Just thought I would share my grow so far.It is Chrystal bagseed and my grow is a Mills Pride C-13 prefab closet with a 400 watt HPS and a 4" 170cfm eco plus inline exhuast fan.
Temps stay around 79-86F (I know, that's a little high) and RH% between 35%-65%.I have a small oscilating fan to circulate the air around the plants.
They were started off using the paper towel method and as soon as they sprouted they wer placed into saturated Rapid Rotter plugs and placed into a sedd tray and flat filled with 2" of plain 6.5-7.0 pH R/O water with a 6" humidity dome on top.Within 3 days the five I had germed sprouted the surface of their RR plugs. After three days of popping the surface and being under the humidity dome they grew their first true leaves and off the with the humidity dome.
After one week they had 3-4 sets of true leaves so I transplanted to 2 liter bottles with my mix which is Jungle Groth potting mix and Dol Lime to counteract the pine bark and sphagnum peat moss.
3 of the five plants ended up being major runts or unhealthy and stubborn so I culled those three and I am left with twne is the most vigorous plant out of the bunch is a confirmed female after 4 weeks veg,the other is shorter plant that got alittle too rootbound before transplanting but I am sure it will kick back into gear and it also is a confirmed female.
This week (three days ago actually) I transplanted them both from the 2 liter bottles to 3 gallon pots and saturated the soil. This morning I fed with full strength (as per 2006 feeding chart ie;3 tespoons/1 tablespoon) Fox Farms Grow Big.So far the plants are starting to green up a little at a time (when ya get rootbound ya get deficencies).
I plant to take clones and prune within the next 1-2 weeks then after the cuttings have rooted I will veg the plants and clones another week before switching to 12/12.
I have not been using FF Big Bloom this go around and I beleive that is why my plants were exhibiting such fast defficiencies while rootbound in the 2 liters (Big Bloom is like a catalyst to better increase nutrient uptake).I plan on using it next feeding.
As soon as I switch to 12/12 I will be feeding the recommended dosages of Tiger Bloom,Big Bloom and Open Seasame (these new additives are kick ass in results but in no way organinc).
Stay tuned IC!
