Well this thread was the on going of the Midwest Outdoors growers 4th thread which was started over on OG, but since it was seized/shutdown i think ill start it out here and keep it going hopefully as i kno theres quite a few OG Midwesterns here on ICMag.

When it comes in April/May to start planting as most know ill have Northern Lights x Bigbud, North #1, Jamaican Jam, Ak47, White Rhino, Hashberry and a few of my own little creations and some of my uncles creations to be plants outside, also might throw out a bunch of Lowryders in a field depending on whether or not the seeds will be fully dried :)

So enjoy and hopefully more people from the OG Midwest thread will attend this one here :)

Heres pics of my Spring babies that will be put outside in March to flower outside till mid April or mid May :)

North #1 spring plant vegging nicely :)

North #1 roots

Hi PS, good to see many of the outdoor growers settling in. The midwest outdoor growers was alway one of my favorite reads.

Being from northern Illinois all the information was helpful. I'll be keeping an eye on your grow. good luck

I believe you mentioned protection with a cold frame type green house for the early parts of March, that will go a long way to helping them survive.

As April progresses into May, look for some nice finished buds before letting them regenerate.

Hey everyone, im a fellow midwestern overgrower. Glad to see we picked up where we left off. The government is completely wasteing time and money, trying to disrupt a worldwide hobby/medicine production but i guess im preaching to the choir now aren't i.

Ive been busy the past month or so givin away tons of beans i grew last year to close friends of mine scattered throughout the state. They are a combo of N#1 and Jamaican Jam F2's, and a cross of the 2. Most of my buddies are first timers, but a handfull have attempted growing, but none with good genetics. I'm hoping to help work toward weening out (at least for my friends) the not so nuggety "Beaster" nugs that are so common around the midwest. Who wants to pay $50 for less than 4 g's of something that isn't even close to the North #1 and Jamaican Jams? Should help inspire a leaky faucet of interest in a few towns. That will teach them to shut down overgrow. :woohoo::joint:

Thing is, i wrote overgrow.com on the bags to help them find a place to start learning, and then overgrow gets taken down. :badday:

So far i've only got the chance to prepare one plot of 6 holes. Lots more work to do. I'm using homemade very composted cow manure, espoma plant tone, lime, perlite, vermiculite, and polyacrylamide gel crystals in my soil mixture with the top few inches of dark, organic matter rich soil. I may splurge and try out a bale or 2 of canadian gold peat for some of the holes.

Only 10 weeks until outdoor season!

Nice PureSativa, gotta represent the OH with those beautiful buds ya got there :D

Seriously I dont know why all commercial growers dont move to Ohio, we have like the most easy going weed laws ever. Misdemeanor for up to a QP? Hell yea..

actually you dont get charged with anything until you go over 250 grams :), below 250 grams its usually a ticket depending on other charges you have on your record :D

Wow, that must be good on the paranoia. Hopefully your neighbors will all have laws like that soon.

"Are those friggin pumpkin seeds in that pic or what."

Those are Castor beans (Ricinus communis) and Cannabis beans. Castor beans have a lethal toxin (ricinin) in them whereas cannabis beans do not.
