Micro Reflectors are here!

Ok, after much searching... months and months I was unable to find a reflector that fit into the aloted space. I did find the "artic sun" reflector but just a touch too long, so naturaly a diy was in order. Did that but as with most DIYs they're not perfect. I like perfection and will pay a reasonable price for them. Then a miracle happened.

I was looking for a "silver star- slim" reflector but didnt like it's height. Micros need every inch!!! I found them, :woohoo: small versions of hydro reflectors for Marine Aquariums! Most are made by the same Co.s

16x16 inches and only 7 inches high.

This one is 14.5x14.5 and 6.5 high

These would be great for NGB cabs

They are 100usd+ but no more DIY, which is fun IF you have time. Which Im running out of every day.

Peace.
Oh those are from aquacave.com

Sounds sweat-ass-sweat, but I don't see the pics. Posting picks in the new updated version is a pain in the ass IMO, so if you're having problems check out this this.

Can you post a link to where you got it too?

Hows that for happenen! Most of them are made by the same manufactur as the hydro companies. They have to take up less space to fit over aquara and under the oak hoods.

A little mods and you have an air cooled hook up.

6-7 inches high? kinda defeats the purpose of micro when you just lost 7 inches of headroom. or does it redefine micro? lol

Not redefine. Look a the NGB cab, that reflector is at LEAST 7inches. This isnt for PC grows. Well, maybe for MINI grows more than MICRO, it does dance on the line.

Frankly, tools like this need to help us redefine the weight classes for growing. I propose a new grading system which I will make a new post upon soon.

But for a guy like me who wants to do stuff in rubbermaids, this might be a boon indeed.

I've had people describe my freezer as a micro. Although a one plant grow is hardly large.

Thats some wild looking geometry in the 2nd reflector. I think it would be quite a challenge to DIY, but hey who knows. Did you purchase any of these? If so when can we see them in action?
