Found 2 speakers (9" x 6.5" x 5" - which is quite small as you'd imagine), popped the fronts off, got rid of the insides, took 2 sides off (doors) and glued them together and nailed the door in (more secure, less accessible, just have to take 4 screws off in order to open so 's cool ), it now looks like this (bottom of page)! Its new dimensions are: 13" x 9" x 5". I still have not decided whether or not I wish to grow 2 SOG plants, in its portrait form or 1 beast ScrOG grow landscape. I feel that the ScrOG grow would be best in all fairness (for yield.. yield = very important to me). I will be using Pure Kush seeds btw.
Main goals of this is SUPER stealth, cost efficiency (parts wise) & yield. I'm going to add wood filler to the light leak spots, cover the insides with mylar, add an extension cable, timed plug (for light), 2 fans, 1 light and a screen. I would really like to use 250w Sunmaster HPS lights, but i'm going up my local highstreet to find some 2700k CFLs as i will only veg until it fills 50% of screen and I am going to have the screen LOW (i'll aim for around 150w - 300w), I will be using some standard multi-purpose compost in a fairly shallow but elongated pot (doesn't use up too much height). I'm not sure whether to use that 'ona-block' stuff or a carbon filter.. maybe both.
I really am hoping for a good yield of around 2 ounces every harvest.. I just don't know whether it's too difficult because of my room restrictions, but some good LST and wattage should do the trick.. right? I think my major downfalls (other than space) are nutrition, I'm not sure what NPK soil this needs? A multi-purpose compost should have a fairly neutral Ph though right? I'm worried not feeding extra nutrition with water when watering will make the plant under-achieve..
I really hope my goals are un-realistic and un-likely, especially for a beginner, I just hope i'm educated enough at this point to yield a lot. I just don't know how to make the plant bushy without FIMing or Topping, which i heard slows down the growth (which i really don't want), but I also hear FIMing doesn't slow it down too much.
I predict that i'll veg for about 2 - 3 weeks and flower for 3 - 4 weeks. Proff. Skittles is UP AND COMING LADIES AND GENTLEMAN! What's your thoughts? I may add a diagram for where I plan on putting things, thanks for your time and sorry for repost! Many thanks & have a good day!
