Micro cab design help

I have a 25"x18x19 hxdxw outter dimensions. I was thinking about going dwc with a 70 watt hps or 2. I'm going to need to make it as stealth as possible so please help.

I don't think your height is tall enough for a DWC rez. Wouldn't seem you'd have any room for the plant.

It won't be 5 gal buckets like it should be, so I guess it's considered SWC, either way less room for roots = smaller plants which is what I want.

was wondering if that was worth it. Maybe it's a lil too much for the grow but I was probably gunna have 2 70's so this will probably be ok with good ventilation.

It's not gonna be much different than using the 2 70's, I would go with the 150. What are you going to use for ventilation? Just a note, with the SWC, you're gonna have to change or refill the rez often once the plant(s) start growin....high maintinence.

I concur, go with the 150, and maybe supplement with a red spectrum CFL.

Check out the link in my signature - there is pseduo how to on how I built my latest cabinet. 25inches in doable only with low profile containers and some sort of SCROG or LST. Scrog would be best IMO. If you can add more vertical height I would do it. Let me know if you have any questions. I'm happy to help.

Yea I was definitely going to scrog and I was thinking about using 2 computer fans at the bottom of the cab, since it's on wheels, another fan blowing in from the back and then a fan to push out the hot air with a home made carbon scrubber, stealthly built on the inside. Have the scrog like 8 inches above the swc. MAYBE have a res or something so I t would be easier to manage, but I have no idea where I would put that. Maybe I should just do soil.

my opinion is start with soil (soiless mix is my pref, pro mix) on the first run. I would stay away from making it too complicated until you have the cab dialed in. Once you get a crop in and everything is running smooth, then bring in the SWC.

dont forget your passive intake(s). It needs to be twice the size of the exhaust to optimize air flow. Use the formula for area of a circle to figure it out.

So maybe I should just make a couple nice holes at the bottom and then an intake fan and an output fan towards the top of the cab?

The inner dimensions are 22.5x15x16 HxDxW, so I think I'm just gunna use one 70w hps behind a glass shield in the top shelf leaving 17.5 inches from the bottom of the cab to the light, then like another 6 inches for a pots / swc = 11.5, then like a scrog 7" above pots with small squares I guess, leaving 4.5" between the light. I'll have a fan right below the top shelf blowing in, and an exhaust with a micro carbon scrubber in the top shelf. How does this sound?

What ever medium and method you go with, all i could add ontop of the ideas already presented would be to also train and tie your girls down to increase your heaight usage.I can shave of a few feet by doing that in my grow area.
