MIchael Vick... can you say hash?

Mr. Nevermind

ATLANTA - Michael Vick reluctantly surrendered a water bottle to security at Miami International Airport that contained a residue “closely associated with marijuana,” police said Wednesday.

The Atlanta Falcons’ quarterback entered a concourse Wednesday morning at the airport with the 20-ounce bottle. He eventually handed it over and boarded his flight to Atlanta. But his initial reluctance to turn over the bottle aroused suspicion among airport security screeners, a police report said.

The bottle was found to have a hidden compartment that contained “a small amount of dark particulate and a pungent aroma closely associated with marijuana,” the report said. The compartment was hidden by the bottle’s label so that it appeared to be a full bottle of water when held upright, police said.

No charges have been filed, but police said the bottle would be sent to a lab for analysis.

Vick did not immediately return a phone call early Thursday.

“We plan to look into the matter and discuss it with Michael Vick before having any further comment,” Falcons spokesman Reggie Roberts said.

Sounds like Mr. Vick was trying to board the plane with some hash. There is already a pic of him in the back of a limo with a girl and he has a burning blunt in his hand. The guy loves his pot. So did Ricky Williams.

I didnt know herb was a big deal in NFl. I know the NBA would stop playing if they didnt have herb. NBA guys are the biggest smokers i have seen.

Whats new?? Michael Vick has been in trouble for weed several times before. Hes also been convicted of carrying a concealed weapon among other things. These are the same charges that have kept his brother and former Virginia Tech qb Marcus out of the NFL. If you ask me theyre both punks;great athletes but disrespectful punks.

How many NBA guys have you seen? Marijuana is just as prevelant in the NFL as in the NBA and probably more so. A couple years ago I remember an NFL lineman (cant remember his name--played for Bears or Vikings) was caught with over 2 lbs of weed and several assualt rifles. What an idiot.... with all that money, transporting guns and drugs is stupid. Just lay low with your millions.
I havent heard of too many NBAers getting caught with weed. Rasheed Wallace is infamous for his pot smoking and Im suprised hes still playing in the NBA after all the arrests.

so the fact that he smokes weed makes him a punk. shit im a punk too. interesting you should insult someone that you dont know. but it is a free country. the NFLs rules on drugs are largely influenced by the government. but it seems so stupid they act as if it will effect their investment in the player yet they dont check them for alcohol, which as we all know causes a hell of a lot mor eproblems than a little weed. the way i see it in the grand cosmic scheme of things alcohol is like the anti-weed. tastes like shit usually makes people aggressive, causes health problems ect. where as weed is mellow brings people together and there is strong evidence that it has health benefits (staving off allzhiemers, possibly having anti cancer benefits). and which one is illegal... disturbing world we live in isnt it....

Ineed. I know some NFl players and some NBA players. The NBA players are huge smokers!! They get good strains and can smoke 24/7. I know of one who actually has a friend whose job it is to be his official blunt roller. The guy just hangs out and rolls blunts, nothing else. So the player never has to roll or look for a blunt, one always ready. Im a big smoker but I even said something to the individual about how much he smokes and maybe he shoudl chill out a bit. But it fell on deaf ears. I love to smoke but if all you do is knock back blunts all day back to back you got issues.

It was funny when i had a player with me in the car and he had a check to cash and had no cash on him so we had to stop at a check cashing place ( we were in a small town where he is from and no branch of his bank in area) . We got to front of line and he pulled out a 2 week check and it was $86K. Check cashing place laughed and so did i. They couldnt cover it

No smoking weed doesnt make him a punk. Giving the middle finger to fans, disrespecting his teammates and carrying several illegal weapons in his car make him a punk. I could care less that he smokes weed. Many NFL players do - its nothing new. When it gets publicized like this is the only way youd even know he smokes. Most players get off with a slap on the wrist. Even worse than Michael is his younger brother Marcus though. In the 2006 Gator Bowl, Marcus stomped on Elvis Dumervils chest as he was trying to get up from a play. Then later said he appologized to Dumervil which Dumervil said never happened. A week later before the NFL combines, Marcus pulls a gun on some people in a parking lot. Thats why I called them punks... because they are disrespectful PUNKS.
I am not sure what your arguement on alcohol probation in the NFL is. Alcohol is legal so regardless of its affects, NFL players are still allowed to consume it.

the store was a conveniance store/check cashing place. they cover peoples paychecks like up to $2k maybe. Very run down place in a run down neighborhood. It was funny, she was polite and just said " oh honey , we cant cover that" nothing major about it. Just a chuckle from all and a " what the fuck is wrong with you?" from me. I couldnt beleive he would attempt that, like they just carry $86K in the register

Hahaha! They can put a "street value" of $10,000 on 5 plants but they have no idea what hash is. Classic.

Damn I wanna be a blunt roller...that would be a sweet job. Maybe a little arthritis but it would be well worth it. I need to find some pro athletes to be friends with...maybe grow their bud too heh.

I've heard of a ton of NBA players that smoked...but NFL not too many. I mean I know of a good amount but no where near the amount in the NBA.

It's amazing 2 me how some1 can call a guy that they never met a punk. Ur callin them punks over info u recieved via the media, not because of wut hes done 2 u. U werent there in any of the incidents so u dont know what prevoked them. As 4 the chest stompin thing that was very unsportsmanlike but I know from experience wen ur on that field sometimes ur aggressiveness & emotions take over & u regret it after. The guy was punished & paid his sentence. U gotta learn not 2 judge bro. Live & let live!

Yes I am calling him a punk because of what Ive read and watched via the media. haha I guess nobody should be judged unless it personally affects you. I suppose I should not say Jeffery Dahmer was a murderer because I saw it on "the media". That would not be enough evidence for me to make a decision because I didnt personally see the murders take place.
No I wasnt there when Marcus or Michael pulled a weapon on somebody but that doesnt mean it didnt happen. And Marcus stomping on Elvis' chest was unsportsmanlike but his character was further tarnished when he claimed he apologized and didnt. Thats not the first time hes been in trouble either. So I dont have to know you to know that youre a punk, a sleazebag, immoral, whatever you want to call it.
And as far as them being punished pfffft. They didnt do any jail time. They paid some lawyers and were on their way. There was no punishment.
I do try to see people as they are. Im not making any of this up. I could care less about either of the Vicks. But I do think that they are bad influences and rolemodels for the young fans that follow them. Maybe there should be a new agreement between pro sports and the media ~~~ professional athletes only get the spotlight when they do something good. hahaha

Hell with all the money the guy makes you would think that either he would have someone to carry it for him or just have one of his people get some so when they pick him up at the airport they already have one rolled for him.
