MH turn to a HPS?

is that possible turn a MH ballast to a PHS ballast? When i bought the used equipment from my friend he gave me a wrong ballast and can't return it to him now... should i bring my ballast to fix it to a HPS or just buy a new ballast? thank

Nope. buy a new one.

you can get a conversion bulb, but will lose about 10-20% of the lumens.

I know you can turn a HPS ballast into a MH by disconecting the igniter.

It might be possible to buy an ignitor and connect it up such that it is a working HPS ballast, but I'm not sure.
