Mg Deficiency??

Hello! First time posting woo. I'm having some troubles identifying the problem with my ladies! I'm about 7 weeks into flower and the canopy is about 18" away from a 825w Gavita DE. Room stays at 79F with 75% humidity. I started seeing these leaves near the top but nothing on the bottom so it makes me think its not Nitrogen but either light burn or Mg deficiency =/ Any input would be awesome! thanks!

Hi Rabbit I am no expert in diagnosis but it doesn't look like a Mg deficiency. 18" is a rather short distance between your 825w Gavita and apex... Around 30" would be better... I have a 750w DE and usually stay around the 30" mark. That said, aint sure it is a light burn... 7weeks into flowering might be senescence kicking in!

Mate im having a few problems meself with a k deficiency, not sure if i have put to much in or to little,(k)potassium is a dodgy nutrient deficiency to diagnose, you most definitely have a mg deficiency going on there,if you not got any cal-mag or Epson salts go get some, it's a easy qn cheap enough deficiency to sort out.

You wouldn't see an Mg deficiency on the top leaves like that. Cool your room and dry out the air more, so they can handle the light and properly transpire.

Temp and rh are in proper proportion, albeit a bit high for that late in flower. Wouldn't hurt to bring them both down, however the real issue is most likely light stress. That's awfully close for a gavita; will not only cause issues in the plants but will ruin the spread of the light. They aren't designed to be dropped right down on top of your canopy like that.
