Mg deficiency but no response to treatment?

OG Kush. All Hydroton cleaned and ph'd to 5.5. RO water with EC 0.2 or <100ppm before mixing. DWC 5 Gallon buckets with 8" net pots. Drain to waste every 5 to 7 days depending on ph & EC. 2.25 watts of air pump/bucket with 2' air diffusers. House & Garden Hydro Nutes w Cal-Mag. 21 plants under 3x600w lights in Magnum xxxl 6" hoods. Plenty of air movement. Air temp 77 degrees. Leaf temp under light is 83 degrees.

Treated with foliar 3 times with Epsom Salts at 1/4 tsp/qt and have Cal-Mag in each water change at 4ml/gallon. Can't seem to shake these symptoms.

Any thoughts as to what the heck is going on.

In all seriousness, how long have you waited? I had the same problem, its been a week and just starting to recover, can you fix your details so we have accurate info? But in my case it was a lockout problem, I lowered EC and waited and I'm slowly recovering a week later.

I fixed my typos. Yes - I do have 2 foot air diffusers. I like them better then air stones. I waited 2 weeks to post, I started treating over 2 weeks ago with no results, which I do not understand.

Your house and garden nutes dont need cal/mag and that looks more like burn then anything else.

I started using some H2O2 in my mix some time back. Now that I think about it, this problem started shortly thereafter. This is probably self inflicted, with the H2O2 killing beneficials creating lockout in my solution and maybe worse.

Agree or disagree.

Looks like a burn to me of some sorts too and maybe your Mag is being locked out as a result as well?....

doesnt look like any mag def ive ever seen. if anything looks likesome sort of salt lockup.

Ph is too low.

Your cure for mag def is too weak although I don't really think its the problem. The rate is a high (did someone mention high? :smile volume spray of 2% solution epsom or 10% low volume spray of epsom. I am terribly trashed and chemistry. Anybody feelin' me? I'll roughly guess use 2 teaspoons epsom per quart h2o to spray both sides of the leaves. Gram scales are invaluable.

4ml cal mag only adds about 12.8 ppm Mg. very little.
