The Oaxacan would be really nice when it's ready, as well as the other South American varieties, Colombians in particular.

Delicatessen Seed Bank offers a mexican IBL called Primera Dama (First Lady) and I think it´s an Oaxaca, but iam not totally sure. It is a top valued but largely unknown spanish seed bank, always good comments in spanish forums for this seed bank, their Reina Madre is very well known in Spain in forum and informed circles. Hope it helps.
i've run primera dama and i believe it's a true ox. no hermi issues, half the phenos exhibit a beautiful purple color. one valid smoke report at another forum was right on the money. if you research the history of this strain it came from an american grower who kept the strain viable for 20 years and then made it available to a spanish psychologist/caregiver.
the cartels dont grow old mexi landraces... they have switched to Canadian, Californian and Dutch genetics. easier to find "white diesel", than "acapulco gold", sad but true...commercialization is to blame for the loss (always has, always will), bulk & quality rarely meet
