I would like to wish all members and guests on ICMAG an absolutely fabulous Christmas and a jolly good New Year.....
It's been an interesting year to say the least....
ICMAG has seen the membership grow and a growing membership...lol!
A volcano prevented me from getting to the ICMAG sponsored 4/20 breeders cup in Amsterdam.....just after my GF gave birth to a bonny new son from me.....who we have nick-named Mango and now I'm watching him race around the floor in his baby walker without a care in the world at nearly 9 months old.....he's looking strong and healthy exhibiting much hybrid vigor....
ICM has seen a staffing change after Skip (webmaster) left mid-year.....and now we have John Bourne (Project Manager) and ICM WEB BOD (webmaster) taking care of the back end of the site.....so far they have done a fine job and will be onboard to help affect some new changes to the site in the new year as well as develop some other net-based ideas we have been brain-storming about lately....
Many new breeders have surfaced over the past year thru our concerted plan to encourage more growers to produce seeds to give away as 'freebies' and or donate to the server fund.....Some of these new breeders have now become Seedbay sellers and have gained alot of respect from the membership as their work has been grown and shown on these forums.....Thanks to all who have donated to the server fund and/or sent in 'freebies' for Seedbay to distribute.....
Many old and already established breeders have produced new seed-stock that has pleased many gardeners over the last 12 months and I have managed to give away a few more kilo's of good seeds this year with the aim of encouraging new growers to start to grow their own 'erb.....as I have been doing for 12 years or so now....
Proposition 19 failed to pass in California this November, but only by 5% of the vote.....so was not a complete failure in my eye's.....it did bring the prospect of cannabis legalization (for recreational use) into view on a global scale....
As always there has been many fun, interesting and educational threads put up by the membership so continuing to make ICMAG.COM the best cannabis growers forum on the internet.....
2011 will bring ICM into it's 7th year online with around 136,000 registered members and 3.3 million posts/ 137,000 threads at this point in time...
I would like to take the opportunity to thanks all Moderators, Mentors and Administrators for keeping the site spam and troll free and helping the regular membership out, most all of them do their job on a purely voluntary basis and have to tackle some very difficult situations that arise from time to time....
.....and naturally I would like to thank the members who make ICM what it is today....Your active participation, posts and threads keep thousands of people coming back to read about a myriad of subjects mostly surrounding the plant cannabis which we all have a common interest in..... and what this site is mainly about.....
I wish one and all much Love, Life and Liberty in the New Year and over this Holiday period!!
