Medical Marijuana and PTSD

yeah cannabis works in mysterious ways joke, so we know it works towards neurogenesis where memories are formed, kickstarters. It helps process recurring memories. :)

Frankly I'm baffled, initially It used to be an initially terrifying experience that would level to euphoria. Now Its easy for me to smoke too much and become hanged up on paranoia of the future.

Fight or fright, its a rollercoaster on this drop. What is love? baby don't hurt me.

I have read that ordinarily your brain holds on to a lot of junk, an example would be things that happen in your day both good and bad and things that go much deeper than that.

Cannabis is supposed to help your brain sort thru the good and bad, relevant and useless and help relive some of the mess going on up there. Now this is particularly helpful with PTSD because it helps your brain forget the hurtful or harmful memories and make room for new stuff.

It's also considered a neuroprotectant and has been benficial in helping people with dementia etc..

Right you are sir, The temporary lapse provided during smoking is incredible!

This is all very interesting because we don't exactly have a history of cannabis in medical literature in the US. And also because anyone discussing PTSD could either be a patient/victim self-described or diagnosed, or a caregiver like a doctor etc. So who is qualified on that the patient or doctor or what.

Smug Pepe just about described it to a T. Like, each person's PTSD may be way different in terms of context and scale or severity. The sativa strains might get you into a place of paranoia or anxiety where you feel you don't really like it or awkward introspective moments. But indica can do that a little too, and it seems to come full circle meaning I wouldn't really classify it as a stimulant or depressant. Actually super effective (only for some people?) if the effects provide what's desired. I'd recommend people to try it. The DSM definition of PTSD might be different as in, on the extreme end the proper advice would not be to recommend a new user previous combat veteran the strongest concentrate available, because sure there could be some potential for less than desirable side effects for the user, but I would not say anger or danger at all. There is a saying about being too good to be true but I mean even with concentrates it's actually just cleaner not more addictive or anything and it is kind of an all in one for mental, and even physical.

So then, as a personal anecdote, I'll say that I may have been somewhat depressed at times in my life like who hasn't. Normal job stuff or whatever. And as a casual user, not "PTSD medical prescription." I lost weight more energy feel better more social list goes on.

The notion of drugs, as in all or none, good or bad, idk, but recently instead of worrying about what is and isn't ok. It can replace caffeine sugar and junk food meaning I'm reapproaching a baseline of water and well seasoned healthy foods just enough etc.

Mentally, just like I suppose thc or cbd or prozac or xanax tolerance, it takes quite a while to either quit alcohol or caffeine or junk food and mentally and physically process what has been going on for the past months/years/etc. If you don't think cannabis helps people do that then we must not be reading the same page.

Simply, Its crazy to think dabs and whatnot are addictive considering the work put into taking a 'hit'.

Its hard to define the effects on marijuana considering that they makes the world feel more, typically a warm and funny sensation. THC does activate neurons to fire in rapid concession in the default neuronal network. That paranoia state is only a reminder, we're always scared and fear is always playing a role in the function of feeling, most of the activity for memory and feelings are processed in the hippocampus where cannabis is most actively promoting neurogenesis.

Have you heard of the Crazy parasitic infection that causes rats to fall in love with cats?

Like dude I'm growing all up front I hooted at my plants and a fucking helicopter flies overhead toward some poor fuckers crop... so now i feel it my personal responsibility to legalize. To be honest It helps to know what it is your breathing for because endogenous cannabinoids are a function during and after heavy workouts i think typically. In my condition its a lot of workup to Vaping a joint. My only concern in life is Recreation and Procreation, its what makes the world go round my friend? Its all about movement or lack thereof.

Frankly All talk has me believing in synchronicity, god is she the one.
