The Presidential Medal of Freedom is given to individuals who have made "especially meritorious contributions to the security or national interests of the United States, to world peace, or to cultural or other significant public or private endeavors," according to the White House.

Do you think Tiger should have been awarded the medal of freedom?

While I have no personal issue with Tiger Woods. I don't think people who play a game for a living, are some incredible gift to society, and Freedom in general.

We should be giving those medals to people who took real risk, in the Name of Freedom.

I agree! IMHO the Medal of Freedom is like a "life achievement award" He was/is a great golfer but, he's got skeletons in his closet!
