Looking for opinions on what all you organics freaks think are the best strains to grow for patients and why.

Currently I am growing one of soma's sativa strains.

Looking to put a few different strains into the mix and would love to hear what are some favorites around here.

i think most of soma's strains are excellent for any sort of medical condition especially one's that leave people feeling drained and fatigued such as multiple schlerosis, AIDS and cancer patients, and maybe even people that suffer from severe anxiety and depression. I think a pure indica would be preferred for a person suffering from chronic pain or a sleeping disorder, such as something with afghani heritage. Hello all,

Um I take exception to the term "organic freaks". Sounds like hippies circling as fire in the night while chanting and waving a dead chicken around. Your and my forefathers were using the same techniques to grow crops before synthetics became available.

With that said, I am a parapledgic and have leg spasms bad. I like the AK48 pheno I have.

It relieves my spasm very well with a high that is very nice. What I like about this stain is that it gets me high without stoning me yet titrates my spasms. Unless I take more then one hit a sesson.

a few of my favorites for medication would be romulan, herijuana, and purple kush, mainly your going to be looking for a indica dominant strain. theres tons out there find one that meets what you would like to smoke and does what you need.

Depends on your med needs. I have colitis and nothing makes me eat like Rez's Sour D. I also love bubblegum for pain (I have Bog) but THseeds or Serious seeds have good lines too. I find indicas help with cramps and sharp pains better.

For some reason..I find Indy types work better for pain than Sativas.
I have nerve pain.
I found Lownranger best for overall pain/sleep/spacticity..
but prefered Mazar x LR indy..
it gave pain relief plus a speedy trippy high..that I could work through..rather than a couch-lock.

Not looking for any "specific needs" per say, just looking to get some new and different strains happening so there is more selection when patients come looking, that's the goal here.

It's also a learning experience for me, knowing what strain is good for which symptom, I know everyone is different with different wants/needs, I'd just rather mix it up instead of growing the same strain each time, the more strains I can get to know, the better. It's a good challenge aswell.

If someone I meet has certain problems, I'd really like to know what flavour would be good for them to try, it's a good thing to learn.
