Hi I am trying to decide between these two sentinel light timers. The MDT-1 and HID-2

MDT-1
http://grow-gps.com/products/digital-timers/

HID-2
http://grow-gps.com/products/lighting-control-power-expansion/

I am tring to figure out the differances and I dont see any except one has 2 out lets (HID-2) and the other has 4 outlets (MDT-1)

I see the cost of the MDT-1 is $191.99
http://www.hydrowholesale.com/Timer...tinel-Sentinel-Master-Digital-Timer-MDT-1.asp

and the cost of the HID-2 is $164.99
http://www.hydrowholesale.com/Timer...entinel-HID-2-Digital-Lighting-Controller.asp

What am I missing? Is the only difference the housing of these units and number of outlets?

Thanks

here is the answer.

The HID-2 is only a lighting controller. It actually allows you to turn on 2 banks of lights with a staggered start.

The MDT-1 is a lighting controller that also incorporates a repeat cycle timer...which is mainly used to control watering devices although it can be used for a multitude of other functions.

The HID2 has a lower retail price.
