McPartland’s Correct(ed) Vernacular Nomenclature

They say in the article NLH and WLH for narrow leaf and wide leaf (Hemp).

So what is NLD and WLD? I have seen it a few times in this forum and wasn't sure what was being said. From the context of the statements I got the feeling that NLD was what we call Landrace Sativa like the Thai and Colombian of the 60s and 70s.

And like McPartland states, I have to agree that because of prohibition and the evolution and hybridization of the species very little pure psychoactive landrace exist in the world. I have seen pretty wild patches of cannabis in India, with that being the exception and not the rule. Sadly, Colombia, Mexico, Jamaica and Thailand seem to want the same things that Americans and Europeans want, and that is a fast flowering cannabis plant that produces well and is full of resin.
