McMaster-Carr?

Anyone ordered from them? Want to get a few things and it doesn't seem they require tax id or anything, but it asks for company name etc. under shipping info. just wanna know if they'll deal with the average joe on a small order..

I have delt with them several times for non-grow related items. Extremely fast service, only downside is no shipping qoute, but they only charge the actual cost. Hands down one of the best companys for industrial parts.

I would be lost without them. I can place an order and pick it up an hour later. They never seem to be out of stock on anything. Great company.

I have been buying hardware from them for over a decade.
They are very good for common hardware. (nuts bolts,raw metals)
That said...Their prices on some items is absurd. (motors,tools)
Being the "frugal bastard" that I am... I always check 2 or more vendors for price.
In example: They sell a hand tool that i wanted for ~23.00 ea. After some research, I found out I could buy them from direct from the mfg. website for ~$6.00 ea.
McMaster Carr is a great resource and i do suggest having their catalog on hand! And...They have the best search engine of any hardware distributor I have used. But it never hurts to shop around.

I never even looked at tools there, not the place for that. If you need that thing nobody else has, not even sure it existed, that's the place.

Their duct parts are of a much higher quality than anything you can get at HD or Lowe's.
