Max # of 315w CMH/LEC a in 4x4 tent

Hello all! How many are running 315w CMH/LEC in a 4x4 tent? The footprint is not enough for just 1, so I was thinking about doing 3x 315w. Is anyone running 2 or more of these in a 4x4? What kind of heat versus an air-cooled 1000w SE HPS? Thanks!

I flowered 2 crops in a 4 x4 tent with a 630w LEC and a 6" exhaust fan. Temps ran around
90F with 50% humidity. Too hot and dry for my taste. Now I'm running the tent with 315 w and just vegging. Works great for that.

1 315 for veg in a 4 x 4 or a 630 for the same tent for flower. A single 315 will flower a 3 x 3 and a 4 x 4 with a 630 is slightly less square feet per watt than the 3 x 3 with 315.

Wouldn't run 3 315's and keep temp/humidity in check for the strain grown. You could run 3 315s in a 4 x 8 and still be good.

Thanks for the replies. I am debating going with 2x 315s or 1k DE HPS in a AC/DE aircooled hood that is likely turned down to 75%.

Go with ceramic. Dialing down lamps alters the spectrum. People get away with it but it's less than prime.

Get a 630. Only ships freight but it's one light that is prime.

lighting distributor advised me to always run HPS bulbs at 100%, the spectrum changes and the bulb life is reduced by running dimmed.

I think two 315's in a 4X4 is just about perfect btw.
