It looks like a good product, I like the reflectors from that company. Some of the other cool tubes out there have a interior shield that directs the light directly down instead of out.

Wantaknow....how big is the room you plan to grow in?I wouldn't rcommend a kooltube that has an external reflector unless in a room large enough that you need the light to be "spread" for you.If working in a small closet or pre-fab cab like a C13/C25 or any of those pre fabs I would just go with a 6" diameter internal reflector cool tube.

10" kool tube is meant for serious lighting and I don't see why anyone would need a 10" kool tube unless trying to cool multiple 1000w HID's that are connected together via ducting/cool tubes.

wow good info ,i am using a room thats 4 foot 6inches wide 10 ft long 7 ft tall with 3 k of hps inline ,sealed with co2 canister carbon scrubber ,putting in the sheetrock next week ,

At that price you could almost buy 2 of the sunsystem cooltubes. I bought mine for $100 each. So add another $20 and you got 2 tubes instead of one. And also after looking at these max air ones on thier site the sun system is MUCH better designed and easier to add into your vent system as they are 6" in diameter.
