Wondering what are some things to do and see on the Island of Maui? Might be headed there next year and want the trip to be memorable.
Any suggestions or recommendations would be appreciated.

Hey RR

For traveling ... I have been using for many, many years ... and always recommend ... Lonely Planet Travel Books

Next time you pass a book store ... head to the travel section .. find Hawaii ... Maui ... and Lonely Planets version of the book ... thumb thru at the very least, and you will get many ideas

For $15 or so, these books will virtually take you there .. talk hotels, restaurants, things to do, see, buy, etc, etc ... at all price levels ... great to plan .. and great when your there

Check Amazon - Lonely Planet Maui

http://www.amazon.com/Maui-Lonely-P...bs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1227741695&sr=8-1

I been ... be very careful about buying weed from people you dont know .. many rips offs

Hope all is well my brother

Save a space me

I been to Maui many times and i always found good weed in Lahaina . The locals can be found hanging around The Banyon Tree and the harbour grounds.Don,t buy weed from the bud wavers along the highway on the east side where the windsurfing areas are. It,s mostly fake buds.
Renting a small but comfortable car is a must, especially if you decide to take the long winding road to the lower east side of Maui to the town of Hana. The lush tropical east side is very beautiful with fresh cool mountain rainwater creating waterfalls all over. You can drive around the southern part of Maui past Hana but the road gets very rough in spots but as long as you don,t drive too fast, your o.k.
Lahaina is a good place to celebrate 4:20 and relax after a long day of sightseeing. The sunsets are awesome anywhere along the western shores.I prefer renting condominiums in Maui rather than staying in a expensive hotel.

Note. If you want to meet some really beautiful Hawaiian ladies, take the ferry to the Island of Molokai.I rented a motorbike and the place is incredible.

check out the Fukishima hot dogs at the liqour store in hiaku - the best. only $1 each, too. Seriously, the best.

Pai'a is a great place... very hippy kinda vibe. Lahaina is a pretty tourist town...

As for finding some good pakalolo, dude I reccommend just being cool & casual to the locals and you'll find it eventually. If you start asking right off you could subject yourself to the haole treatment and never want to go back to islands again.

Good luck.

I spent lotsa time there.

If one is used to PRIME headies, don;t plan on finding the BOMB pot.. Don;t plan on getting a good deal.... Sometimes the pot is actually good, but usually, the End User (especially in a street deal) gets crappy smoke. Even if one lives there, it is expensive, and no one really offers deals... Usually - the buds are nothing special.... The scene is one of very little respect for tourists, it is a Hawaiian tradition. I would bring some hash..lol

Good Luck. The Island is incredible,,,!!!!! Don't miss the Countryside around Hana.... And the nude beach in Makena...
