Damn, I can't believe I've been away so long, I thought that you had stopped coming by since I haven't received any updates. But, I'm back.
MM, your girls are looking good and I hear you're still looking for the black lava rock, seems like that shouldn't be a problem for you, have you tried that stuff they sell for those fake fireplaces? Well, if you can't find it locally at your HD, or Lowes stores try the local WW's or Targets, then there's always the net. You can find anything on the net.
Update on my last run, the babies I was trying to get going using fog didn't work, they stayed small, under 7", only my revegged mama pulled through, I got 6 zip's from her, 4 strong zips and 2 of popcorn. I'm in the process of trying to reveg her for a third time, will be giving her to my brother so he can use her for clones.
I have two auto's that are about 3 wks old now, I just put them into the buckets and trying to main-line them to see; 1) if they can be main-lined and 2) if "main-lining" them can make them into set-it and forget it plants like our bio-buckets.
Well enough for now...

HEEEEEY! I am still alive!
I know I never posted a conclusion to this thread, summer hit and things get busy.
I had a very good harvest, didnt get the quantity that I had hoped for, but the quality is through the roof. Hands down best quality that I have ever had. Ill get to the smoke report in a min.
I got about 8 zips total, with most coming from the purple pheno in the back. So I feel like if I get everything right next time, and run cuttings in each bucket, i could get quite a bit more quantity.
I had to tear down everything for a few months, for two reasons. One to replace a furnace and dont need any prying eyes. Second so I can make a few revisions to the system. Ill be replacing all the green hose i used to run the water to the buckets will get replaced with solid pvc all the way around, same idea with the black flex hose that runs to the exit hose that runs back to the rez.
Well Ill get to the pics.

Raz, how you been man? What do you have in the mix right now? Im interested about this main-lining.
Forgot to add, the pics above are another run of trim butter and again it turned out amazing! Its so damn potent, like a teaspoon of this in the morning in my coffee is plenty to make my mornings AND afternoons amazing. Its great for the pain and doesnt fuck with your decision making....... as much lol.
The bottle of juice is my second attempt at making vape juice. It turned out much better than my first try. I used bubble hash that I made, and dropped some in some premium quality ejuice. I think the brown film you can see in the pic is the trichrome casings if you will. Just needed to strain once more with a 25 micron screen to get the rest out. Its very good.
And the pice of the green container is the bubble hash i made. The three big balls are from this run, the blueberry kush.
The smoke of this stuff is really next level for me. You can for sure feel the effects of both the blueberry on its own and the OG on its own. The blueberry gives you a real warm loving feeling, gets you in that good mood, and then the OG comes in with almost not a heavy sedating feeling, but just the right amount. But if you puff enough you will get that couch lock.
The thing that stands out most to me about this strain, is just how gimpy people are getting off of this stuff. People that smoke ALOT take a few hits of it, and just proceed to laugh their dicks off. They tell me they havent laughed like that off of weed since highschool. I feel like I put alot of good energy into this run and it shows!
Im really proud of myself on this run, on only my second attempt ever, I knocked it out of the park. I feel like alot of it has to do with me learning but also it shows just how great this system can be, when done right. I still have alot to learn, but im on the right track.

What's up MM? I thought that a lot of different shit had happened to you. Moved to CO, on the DL because of all your activity here on the boards and finally that you got called back into the Corp because your body was healed from all the medicine you grew and the medic's and doctors had no clue what you did and they needed a test subject to see if it could be duplicated.
Well I haven't been real busy either, but I have found out that Auto's are not for me or at least not for me to be trying any experiments on. Of the two that I had going back in April only one is still growing and right now in the final stages of her life (2 wks to go maybe). This is how it broke down, the Auto Pounder (Big Bud x Power Plant) didn't like the main-lining, stayed under 10 inches tall and only produced 2 buds. I renamed her Auto Grammer. The second one Cash Crop (NL x Big Bud) is still in the system, she is slightly taller than the first, took better to the main-lining and produced 6 colas, I'll take some pic's of her so you can see. But I still think that my experimentation hurt both of them, so if I run some more auto's I'll leave them be and just let them do their thing.
Well enough for now, got to go cut the yard before our next round of showers come in, good to see you back.

Glad to hear it, haha. Hope to see another Bio Bucket run soon. I'm slowly migrating toward TLO/LOS and organics... XD But man... Once I get the space and funds to do my hydro setup...

Hey man! Can't wait to see your interpretation of the bio bucket. I'll be sure to drop a link to the new thread once I get my seeds rollin. Should be next week. I'm gonna be runnin some northern lights.

Still haven't gotten to taste that strain yet, but I'm hoping to eventually. I'm in soil for now, as it seems to be the cheapest medium. Rockwool is expensive, and I don't have the space or capital for a full hydro system. :/ But I'm growing and learning. 
That's all I truly care about in the end.
Also, if you still have a cloudy reservoir? Make sure it's 100% lightproof down there. That's what someone I talked to recently mentioned. Said the light gives life to that slimy shit. Not sure if it's cyanobacteria or what. I is noob still..

Northern lights was my first and still favorite strain had. Blew my mind how good it was.
Hydro setups can be very expensive, I have prolly a little over a grand into everything. I did save alot of money by building it myself. My best advice would be to envision your ideal setup, and don't settle for anything less. I've spent more than I would have liked to, by upgrading things like ballasts. Had a 600, then bought a 1000, should have bought the 1000 of the bat. But I'll always be making tweaks and upgrades to my system I suppose.
This run I'm going to attempt cloning, cause I'm sick of growing all from seed, and ending up not having a few finish out. So that's a new project to tackle.
As far as the cloudy res, nothing I do clears it up. So I'm either gonna just let it do its thing as is, or add a bio filter. I'm starting to think that cloudy slime, IS the bennes. I've done everything I can, there is exactly 0 light in my grow room right now, while I'm letting the system set itself up. Not even the grow light us on in the tent, and im still getting the cloudy water. So I'm just gonna let it go and add cuts when they're ready.

Finally I find others growing bio buckets. It's odd to me that its taking so long for others to take notice of its effectiveness! By far the most maintenance free system I've used, while still producing rediculous yields.

Hey budd, welcome. Im super impressed by the bio buckets. And youre correct about them being maint free. I find myself looking for stuff to do, but the buckets got em covered. Ill be starting my new run here in a few days once my seeds show up. Cant wait! Welcome aboard mang.

auto flowering has been modified some how to where it can be left in the grow stage and will flower automatically, without needing to be switched to a less hours of light to trigger flowering.
i will go back and re read it and see what it said about how it was modicide
also the same place where it said .
how the feminised seed came about... that it is when the plant in a growing stage, and first show sign of becoming a mail plant , cut off the pods and to rejuvenate and for survival becomes a female plant and the seed from that only produce female plants....
