Marine Blower for ventilation???

I'm finding these items all over ebay for like 30 bucks shipped.

Anyone used one of these for ventilation or know if they would work for it?

CFM rating seems good...don't know much about noise, but thought I'd get feedback here?

Thanks!

I remember someone else posting these blowers before and someone who tried them chimed in saying they are loud as a mofo.

I bought it and it sounds like a vacuum cleaner, but moves good air. Not at all worth it though. It's 12v too but 5A...it was such a bitch to find a 12v convertor that can handle 5A.

They are nothing more than 12VDC versions of those 115VAC inline duct fans. Not worth crap as a fan for grows.

The one on my boat is loud as hell. I also think they would wear out quick. I don't think they are designed for continuous use. You run them 5 min before firing up your boat engine and that's it.
