Good to see everyone. The growing and photos are great and getting better all the time. Lots of fun. So much good herb out there these days.
It's good to see so many people with access to the truly kind herb. I remember when I started growing, looking at a plant, thinking, 'that's a lot of joints on that tree!'. Then I thought, 'and that's a lot of good times for a lot of people'.
I look at a marijuana shrub and see it for all the happiness it will bring. Less fighting, less impatience, more understanding. It is many things to many people. Pain relief, stress relief, nothing to smoke relief. It's all for the better.
Our part, as growers, is to have sleepless nights of worry. Will this be the night? Who's that driving by slowly? It's our burden to bear when a healthy crop suddenly begins to fail - and SOOO much is dependent on a good harvest, it makes your gut sick. It's our task to lean on a wall and stare at the garden, for however long it takes to know what next should be done. Takes a certain kind of person to do it.
Seeing all this evidence of really good pot all over the place makes me happy. It means there are more people taking on the challenging role of being cannabis gardeners. The end result of our stress and hard work is a whole lot of potential for goodness, so keep growing and learning and teaching and growing and learning and teaching. Sort of patriotic, what we do.

HC, I have that C99 clone about 2 weeks from harvest, maybe less. Good shit! The resin load on this stuff is insane! As your pictures demonstrate quite well.

So, I'm about to spark up a joint of M39, aka Skunk1/Basic5. It's 3:50 in the morning here and I can't sleep. Well, I could sleep if my one year old daughter could sleep. She's had us up all night. I think that hot cocoa this afternoon pumped her up with caffeine. It wasn't regular hot cocoa, it was made by Ghirradelli, and had lots of real cocoa in it. ooops. I'm paying for it now! hehehe
Funny thing is, since we moved up here to the cabin, the wife and I have been sleeping on a shitty mattress. Our sleep for the last 6 months has been bad to terrible. This morning I woke up with such back pain as I have not had in about 10 years. Took me half the day to uncramp myself. Lots of yoga.
So, I brought a brand new mattress in today and it's WONDERFUL! Anything's wonderful compared to what we have been on. SO, I find it painfully ironic how we finally get a bed to REALLY sleep in, and the baby keeps us up all night. She never does this, only when Daddy is a fool and has an afternoon cocoa fiesta with her. All good things to those who wait, I guess. But damn that bed is so comfortable! What a tease!
Time to spark this joint and put things in perspective.
