UN Marijuana Use Around the World ...

If you had to guess which country had the most marijuana users, which would it be? It's not the Netherlands—they're not even in the top five. This map, courtesy of Conrad Hackett and UNODC, shows where marijuana use is most widespread. Per capita, Iceland leads the pack:

1. Iceland

2. United States

3. New Zealand

4. Nigeria

5. Canada

looking at that map,

there are websites for map enjoying people

it says more about the people who made the map than those it represents.

obviously, the data represents some eurocentrism, or more amerocentrism.. zero data for the globe's longest established political regions... could be a good reason why our euro/amerocentric mapmakers don't want people thinking too fucking much about what asians think or do, let alone africa.

of course there's the standard quantisations, if you changed the regions or colours, it could tell a very different story.

which is really my point. how long, how long are people going to let tavistock tell them what the story is?

That's probably based on per capita, what, there may be 100 people in iceland and 90 of them smoke.. :lol:

yeah, I read the whole report last night. based on how many out of a thousand citizens or something. pretty impressive when you consider how expensive it is there & considering how repressive their laws are. it also said that they drink vodka like it is free...
