Marijuana Leaves are Itchy?

i pulled a leaf off of one of my male chronic plants and i put the stem part of the leaf in my belt so that the leaf was under my shirt. well when i got in my car about 2 minutes later that area was really really itchy! its fine now but has anyone else discovered that leaves are itchy?

yeah its a well known fact.

its why you should never eat weed raw for one thing. Like in that cheech and chong movie with the weed salad. it'll get you sick. alot of animals too.

i guess all weeds are like that in general. like when i take strolls thru the woods and if by chance im wearin shorts my legs get itchy when there arent even insects around. anyways just thought it was interestin that it happened

i think i read somewhere its because the plants are coverd in very tiny hairs that irratate the skin.

I get a stuffy nose sometimes when I smoke and so did an ex girlfriend I had, that's interesting hearing another person get that. I've broken out in hives smoking it on rare occasion and I find sometimes my facial skin itches after smoking, particularly when I'm over indulging.

I got a runny nose when trimming my outdoor crop last year. It was definitely the terpenes. I swear I got kinda high just from handling the buds, too...and if you lick the finger hash off ur fingers, it can give you a nice mellow feeling...

That's wild how some of you get irritated skin from fresh plant matter. Makes sense though I guess - never really thought of it.

When I'm stuffed up a bowl of good herb works awesome as a decongestant for me. And hash is the best expectorant if you're congested in your chest and sinus' at the same time.

i'll tell you that.....

once i went into my flowering room without my shirt on.
i was in the room for couple good min, slowly but surely rubbing against 14different extra-resinous mothers. when i went out of that room my whole back, part of the stomach, neck etc - was alll irretated like HELLFIRE.. my whole back was red like a baboons ass and it hurt like hell.
never again will i go into my flowering room without a shirt!

Fresh cannabis, specially ready to harvest is pretty toxic. Specially if its dripping in resin.
Ive heard stories of cutters (commercials trimmers) doing a few days of trimming, without gloves, burning hands, nails falling off.. that shit. Wash your hands in hash oil few days...
Wear gloves when handling large amounts.

lol. the exact opposite with me. it didn't irritate my skin but the resins would bust. they are sticky terpentines that last a long time and are hard to get off. I always felt like I was wearing the coolest cologne on earth.


when I'd be all sticky from the resins and smell sweet n pungent like bubblegum and hawaiian sativas. I'd always be thinkin I should go rock a club or something smellin like this. lol. shame to smell this goddamn good and to be sittin at home.
