Sorry if this is the wrong place. Was hiking in the woods today and came across many of these plants growing in the wild.

I have no idea if they can have 5 leaves when small.

Are you sure this is Cannabis? Do you have any photos of the plants lower branches?
Pull one, a bigger plant out by the roots and take a photo of it all.

learning about only cannabis is like learning one song on an instrument and saying your a musician.to truly understand nature and plants and growing i believe one should learn about it all.i know how to grow so many other plants even better than cannabis.this knowledge has only helped me grow cannabis better.people who are good at what they do in life generally have a broader knowledge of what it is there good at.doctors treat more than one patient.musicians play more than one song.contractors build more than one style type house. ect... knowledge is power.learn about it all.dont just single our ganga.

im still not getting it upstairs.ive seen so many of those to and the owner of the organic veggie farm i use to work at told me the name of it and i just cant remember for some reason.it grew everywhere at their farm.

if knowledge is power, knowledge corrupts ;)

perhaps the desire not to investigate things outside of interest indicates a greater operational foundation than knowledge ;)

it's like i say.. all requirements for living and happiness can be easily accomplished with natural things.. the only valid application of science and technology is art, not authority. then you get people cutting people open to base authoritative arguments on observance of morphology and other things primitive minds can assess :)

I'm not sure what it was, it looks similar to Tagetes lemmonii , but I dont think its in the range and the leaf margin is more roughly serrated on the marigold. Maybe PlantManBee can pop in and figure it out.

Good point. Maybe Sam isn't a skunk, but a hedgehog.

A fox meeting a hedgehog asked him, "How many wits have you?"

And he replied, "Only three. But how many have you?"

"I," boasted the fox," have seventy-seven."

As they were talking and walking along, not noticing where they were going, they fell into a deep hole which the peasants had dug.

The fox asked the hedgehog to save him.

The hedgehog said, "I have only three wits. Perhaps you will save me first, then I will see about you afterwards," and he asked the fox to pitch him out of the hole.

The fox did so, and then asked the hedgehog whether he could help him.

The hedgehog said, "I cannot help you with three, if you cannot help yourself with seventy-seven."

And so the fox was caught in the morning by the peasants and killed.

I have been a Bio-dynamic organic french intensive farmer for almost 50 years, grown hundreds of different fruits and veggies and herbs, but I stick to what I said, my real interest is Cannabis.
Tell you what, you do what you believe in and I will do the same, what I believe in and am interested in. I am also a collector, I collect Cannabis books, Cannabis botanical art, Cannabis medicinal bottles, Cannabis tax stamps, and a whole lot more Cannabis related items, thousands. All because I singled out our Ganja.

Umm I was just amazed how much the leaves resembled weed. If it was later in the year I'd of said it's too close to the ground.
